Overall, it was a very good experience. Tim was in contact with us throughout the whole process and provided us with accurate prices and time estimates. He also gave us drawings of what our kitchen would look like with different cabinet options to help us decide on a final product. In the end, everything was delivered as promised. We only had one minor issue with a broken drawer panel, which was immediately replaced at no charge to us.

Phinney Ridge's prices ended up being considerably higher than I expected going into my remodeling project, but in the end I feel satisfied with value for money for two reasons
1) the quality of the cabinets is first rate - my contractor's crew couldn't stop talking about the exellent quality of these cabinets;
2) I feel I really got my real money's worth in the meticulous and tireless design help I got from Tim Moser, their designer.
Optimizing the cabinet design for my particular kitchen configuration took quite a bit of work and rework, design and redesign, to get the absolute best results for the space available. My project involved removing a wall (with wall cabinets) and another long bank of low cabinets in an area I wanted to change from kitchen to dining room space.
Trying to make up for that lost storage space with new options in a smaller space took quite a bit of determination - often involving shifting everything an inch here, or an inch there, over and over again. Tim was with me all the way through to getting to the best possible solution, and in the end, I didn't feel bad about what seemed to be high cabinet costs, because I got so much quality design work as part of the deal. While I may have marginally less cabinet space now than before, what I do have is much more usable, with more of what I need easily at hand.
If you have very straightforward needs where standard cabinet sizes can work, then you probably can find a better deal elsewhere. But if you're looking for good help in licking some tricky design problems, and you want to end up with some truly first-rate cabinets, then the folks at Phinney Ridge might be just who you need.

Very satisfied with our experience working with Tim. He was willing to revise designs several times to accommodate our needs. Installation was done by a separate contractor. When there was an issue getting some final pieces, they did send out their own installer who was very professional.
