Our bathroom floor and shower tile had to be done TWICE because the first time, most of the tiles came out crooked. We had to pay them again, just for them to fix THEIR mistake! Their tile guy had installed cracked and broken marble in the shower surround when there were plenty of unused marble left still in the box.
Their electrician Alex, was argumentative at times and actually raised his voice at us more than once. He was undependable and often late. When he did arrive, he would run in like the Tasmanian Devil and even brought his teen-aged kid with him to and quot;hang outand quot;! This guy wired half of our basement, including our living room/entertainment room on ONE 15 amp circuit!
On their web-site they claim they are licensed and certified, but failed to produce those credentials when asked on every occasion. And to top things, PB has been doing a remodeling job for our neighbor that has been going on for AT LEAST FOUR YEARS! The list goes on.
Do yourself a favor and research PB Constructions' affiliation with Ewing and Clark Construction and the now defunct Paragon Builders.
I think they did a great job. I've already recommended them to friends and I'd definitely would use them again if necessary. Todd came out and did an estimate which was really good. He worked really well with my designer and there were no surprises in cost. It took longer than I expected because they were on some other projects. However, when I called asking for an update or trying to find out when they'd be back the project manager was really great about giving me accurate information. They always showed up when they said they would. In all, the quality of the work and product used was great. I also really liked all the people who were coming into my house. As a single woman, it can be a little weird to have men coming in and out of the house. They were very clean and made sure they put things down on the floor to protect my property. They were really polite, nice, and professional throughout the entire project. I think Todd hires really good people to work with him.
