We arrived at Children's hospital in Bellevue and our son got to play the Wii in the lobby. The Bellevue surgery center is nice because the parent's get to be with their kids as they undergo anesthesia, then we are led to the other side of the operating room where the post-op recovery rooms are. It is comforting to know that your kid is in the next room. The anesthesiologist was very warm and jovial with our son. It was a relaxed atmosphere. After the procedure there are popsicles and a few minutes to come out of the anesthesia, then we got to go home. Our son's hearing is restored to normal. Dr. Parikh took good care of our child and allowed him to have better hearing.
Description of Work: Our son needed ear tubes placed for the second time. Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Parikh at Children's Hospital. Dr. Parikh ran hearing tests and decided that the fluid trapped in our son's ear was causing hearing impairment and that inserting tubes to allow the drainage would restore his hearing. Dr. Parikh did the first tube placement, but this time the adenoids were swollen and blocking the ear canal. This time the adenoids would need to be removed.
