First security light incorrectly installed; stayed on continuously (we fixed it). New gutter was dented, but he painted it anyway. Caulking on new cedar siding looked like it was installed by a five year old (messy). Huge gaps left between new siding and garage; we had to have him back twice to fix it. Also, had him replace dented gutter and fix caulking, which made it look somewhat better but not professional by any stretch. Now, four weeks later, the caulking is lifting and splitting because he apparently painted it while it was still wet. So, now we need to get him back again. To add insult to injury, he charged us nearly $2000 for this work. My mistake; I agreed to time and materials. He apparently charges travel time at $35/hour plus a sizable (I'm guessing minimum 25%) material mark up. We used him based on a referral from a church friend who only knew him from church; another mistake. However, I will say that he is a nice and courteous guy.
