The Paint the Town crew was excellent; very professional.  Preparatory work was done in one day after which the crew began repainting (two color, house and trim). They did a meticulous job of repainting the exterior of our home, and thoroughly cleaned up at the completion of each day.  Garden foliage closest to house was covered as needed before painting started.  They crew "chief" conducted a walk around inspection with us after the job was completed to make sure that everything was done as expected.
A collateral job was to re-stain the screen door at the front of the house, replace hinges and reinstall the door.  Problems emerged with the replacement hinges that required additional work (hinges recommended by local builder supply firm turned out not to be suitable choice). Jim Knott took care of the problem conscientiously, arranging technical assistance from another local company to source the needed hinges and rehang the door.
We would use their services again.

Jim Knott stayed with the job, did nice repair work at a good price when damaged wood became evident and it still looks alright. My rooters and gutter guys said he did a good job, too.

Met with Jim received a bid.Paint The town Started one week later.Jim prepped the house.Lead painters started on time and finished on time.Three floors, high ceilings, carpeted rooms and stairways, plus wood and slate tile floors were protected perfectly. There is a ton of wood work in the home all of it came out clean. We were kept informed of progress on a regular basis. Jim completed the work on schedule and even his crew as well as himself informed us at least three times to call if we noticed any problems and they would come back to touch thenm up or fix them.We have not noticed anything that needs to be redone.

NOT GOOD. THERE WERE PERSONALITY CONFLICTS AMONG WORKERS. ONE EMPLOYEE WAS VERY UNCOOPERATIVE WITH ME. NOT VERY INTERESTED IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, BUT IN JUST GETTING THE JOB DONE IN A HURRY. OVERALL PREPARATION WAS VERY MINAMAL. ACTUAL WORK WAS VERY POOR QUALITY. CLEAN UP WAS MINIMAL. TOUCH UP AREAS WERE NOT ADDRESSED AS PROMISED. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE IN MY OWN HOME WITH THIS CREW.
Response from Paint the Town
"We went out of our way to make this customer happy. I had my best painters on this job,he just happened to be the pickiest customer I've ever had.there were some issues but when I came to him he didn't 't want to talk about it, seemed he'd rather b**** about it than trying to fix the problem. He was just one of those customers you can't make happy."
