Recently, six very tall condos were built behind our side yard that are so tall, they look down onto and into our house.  We wanted to find a solution to block out the condos as much as possible and we had two different landscape companies come to give us ideas and a bid.  From the start, Baxter really won us over.  We liked that he had his own crew of people that always work for him, and that he didn't subcontract out (except for the electricity).  He worked hand in hand with us from design inception to completion, including a number of changes we wanted to the design before the work began.

His crew was punctual and worked through all kinds of weather until the job was done.  Baxter came out at least once per week to check up on things, and if we had questions, was always available.  Day to day, his crew was on site.

We now have a little oasis in our side yard.  People come over and say it looks like Better Homes and Gardens.  It really exceeded my expectations.  The Pergola is a large wooden structure they built that is covered and we can grill and sit under, and the design is fantastic.  The water feature came out great and the deck is wonderful.  The plants are beautiful - they planted bamboo that is already tall enough to block out some of the condos' windows and the rest of the plants are very tastefully arranged with a good variety of types of plants and trees.  I want to be out on the deck all the time as it's such a peaceful and beautiful place to relax with the sound of the water feature nearby.  The lighting also came out great.  The cost wasn't the least expensive, but given the quality of work, it was worth it.  All in all, we couldn't be more pleased with Baxter and his crew's work.

The owner, David Baxter was referred to me by a close friend, and I'm glad he did. I called David to talk with him about his services and what I was looking for. He was personable and professional. We made an appointment for him to come to my house to get acquainted with the area that I wanted landscaped and with what I was looking for.
We spent about 1 hour together and several days later he had a plan and proposal. We reviewed the proposal and it was everything I wanted to a gave him the green light to do the project. Ten days later the garden was in. It looks fantastic. His crew were polite and kept the area surrounding the garden clean.
I couldn't say enough great things about Baxter and Pacifica Landscape. They did such a great job that I'm thinking about having them re-design and landscape my front yard.

The positive comments on my landscaping are too numerous to count. The company's professionals have an outstanding aesthetic sense, and are particularly skilled at building different colors, textures, seasonal phasing and accents such as lights and paths into the landscape design. My yard looks very natural even though it was very precisely designed. They are very reasonable in terms of correcting any problems at no cost, and doing the project in phases to make it more affordable. They were prompt, responsive and clean. All in all, this a a fantastic landscaping company and I would recommend him to anyone.
