A lovely woman named Kate met us at the front desk and immediately brought in an appraiser who gave us an estimate of the value of the piece we were donating. We then had a quick tour of the auction house. The item sold and we received our check. Excellent experience and we would use Pacific Galleries again.

 + 0 moreHorrible. No follow-through, kept me hanging. Not good.
Description of Work: Horrible, horrible, horrible follow-through. I had contacted them for information about consigning some items, and had a heck of a time getting through, despite numerous follow-ups. Was told that they don't handle certain types of items I have because they were not Victorian, which is nothing short of ridiculous - they are Victorian, and if they would have taken the time to review the CD with pictures I left them, and appraisals I sent and listened to what I said on the phone and in person, they'd know this. Assessment: they just want you to drop off your items, start with a "zero" reserve and make a quick low-ball sale. I went to another local auction house and had great customer service without the hassle. Not again. Ever.
