Out Of The Wild

Josh Dickson met with me and inspected the roof and quickly found two gaps in the gutters where rats were accessing the roof rafters. I showed him where rats had nested near the house foundation in three places, plus more burrowing in the garden under a bird feeder. (I have removed the bird feeder: lesson learned!)
All in all, everything was done according to the bid Josh gave me. He had an assistant come with him on the first day to help with some digging and placing of pea gravel. I was home and was present for the entire process. I was impressed with the efficiency and swiftness of the work. Josh needed to access the roof rafters via an access door in the ceiling of an upstairs room. He was very respectful and worked smoothly to lay traps and finished with no mess.
It has been a few weeks since Out of the Wild corrected my rat infestation. They are gone from the rafters. No more pitter patter of little feet overhead in the roof. Rats will always be around in Seattle, but, happily, they are no longer sharing my house.
I recommend Josh Dickson for pest control. He is very knowledgeable and capable. I appreciate his practical-yet-caring attitude about wildlife.

Joshua was extremely patient and kept coming back to further investigate and set up new traps until he was able to determine all of the entry points.  He shored up a lot of places where they were getting through, though ultimately there was still one entry point that was related to a chimney pulling from the house.
He was flexible about working with my crazy schedule, even offering to come on the weekend when need be.
I hope I never have to use him again (chimney fixed), but wouldn't hesitate to use him if I needed to.  I'd recommend him to anyone with a "big pest" problem.
