Orkin

Orkin has its name behind it and that is it. They try to be friendly but just like the other F review, being "friendly" and "appearing to have good customer service" don't kill ants. I could give a Rats A how friendly you are, I pay you to kill ants. And I have paid a LOT. Over $800 in a one year period. The ants still show up in our house. They hire minimum wage people who follow some script and make things up. One guy we had said "I mix my own chemicals" (perhaps he was talking about his meth lab or something because the next guy said "that is not true, we cannot "mix" our own chemicals." ). ***!!!! The most annoying part about Orkin is they will spray inside only where we saw ants. We plead with them to treat the whole inside of the house as they will come back somewhere else and they tell us they are not allowed to do that. This is akin to hiring a taxi driver and him telling you he is not allowed to make right turns. What a bunch of S! I am DONE with Orkin. If I were rich, I would spend $1M on some African Fire Ants and fill all of their offices with them. Talk about your FAIL CAKE sprinkled liberally with WEAK SAUCE Orkin will serve you a THICK FAT PIECE of it Topped with FACE PALM FLAVORED ice cream.

I used Orkin on my rental property. The guy who came out was like a river of information. He gave lots and lots of advice about stuff. He came back to check things when he didn't have to, it wasn't required, but he wanted to make sure everything was good. So, that was greatly appreciated.

We have used Orkin for years but that is just a habit. The cost is 85 dollars every 3 months. I have got no complaints. I have not seen any carpenter ants. Good job and that is kind of the deal. It feels like it is a little bit expensive but I haven't done anything about it. The quality of the service is good. When we had dogs, we never worried about the dogs getting out but we don't have a set date that they have to be here because they set their own schedule.

I will continue using them.

I have had Orkin for 8 years now and I hate my Orkin man. He appears friendly but he really never does anything except spraying some chemicals outside and occasionally going down the crawl space. Even for that, he stands on the ladder and takes a peek. When I told him the spiders are crazy in my yard, he told me he already treated them and they would die in a few days. They are still everywhere. When I asked about so many flies in winter, he told me winter is just the fly season. He never found any activity in or outside the house, but once a sub found a very big water damage rotting spot in our wall by going into the crawl space. I am a nice lady so I never had the courage to confront him. I only requested him to do more, but he was so lazy that he always found the shortcut. In despair, I contacted Orkin via Customer Support and requested a change of the service man, but there he is -- on our door step again today, pretending nothing has happened and performed another lousy service in 5 days. I had enough of this terrible service, and it costs about $120 once! It's really ridiculous. I am calling this minute to cancel the service.

They have been good and quality is excellent. I would use them again.

We didn't see any stuff after that. The bugs didn't come back and so we just stopped using them after a while. We don't remember how much we spent on their services. They have a good reputation. They were prompt and they always warned us when they used stuff that was harmful to the animals, which they didn't do very often. Their price was a little more than what I wanted to pay, but they're a reputable company and so we paid it. They didn't have any set time to come and so their punctuality was okay we guess. The guys we had were professional. We will use them in the future if we need to.

They are straight forward with what they offer. The man that came out knew what he was looking for.

I used them for a couple of years but I do not use them anymore. I had decided to use them because they had a good package and service. I paid them monthly for service.

We chose not to go with the contract option because we have used them in the past, and we did not like the contract issues. When we used them in the past, we had a billing issue. We called and gave them the card number, so we would be billed on a regular schedule. The first time they came out the technician said that we owed them for the service. My wife called and got the bill straightened out. The second time a different technician came out, and we ran into the same billing issue again. My wife then became frustrated and canceled the contract because they could not get the billing right. The service was good just not the billing. They came out a few days later after the treatment to make sure everything was taken care of.

I have been satisfied with the service they provide and we don't have any bugs since we have been using them.

They do a good job.

We have used them on several occasions. I have not had anyone else perform pest control so I have not done any price comparisons. They are reliable and come out and take care of your needs. I have always had a good experience with them.

They got rid of the ants. I'm very happy with them. They always show up when they say they will.

They were very responsive and had somebody out within a couple of days after we gave them a call. The person whom they sent was very thorough. We had an ant problem and we don't have it anymore as they took care of it. They were reliable and they did what they said that they were going to do. They were very conscientious about not spraying where pets or people move around. I think they were a little more expensive than other companies.

They did what we needed. They were a little more expensive but the guy who came out was very knowledgeable about what they offered and what they did. He was very professional, I did like them a lot and if needed, we would like to go back to them for pest control services. They did very well.

They call to inform me before they come out. They are professional and punctual as well. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.
