Description of Work: Ed saved my day and I highly recommend his sewer service company! We're in the middle of finishing our basement and are adding a bathroom. Our current plumber exposed the sewer line to connect it to the new toilet and shower drain. I was told that my cast iron sewer line is rotted and he needs to jackhammer through my basement to the exterior wall to lay down new sewer pipe. If I don't fix my line now, they will need to jackhammer my new bathroom if it breaks in the future. He gave me a quote of more than $10,000 and I felt sick to my stomach. Thank goodness I found Ed! I called him for a second opinion and he and his crew came out to my house first thing next day. He inspected the sewer line with a camera and told me my line is fine and I don't need to do anything! He said the exterior rotting is normal for cast iron. In case the line breaks under the house, he can just dig a trench outside of the house and shoot a liner in the existing pipe. He also went out of his way to write down a detailed report . Fingers crossed that I will never run in to sewer issue. He will be the only guy I call if I do.
