Damaged property with truck, tried to hide the damage
I would never hire these people again
"We at Northwest Insured Tree Service always strive to go above and beyond to give our customers absolutely the highest quality of work possible. We have been working for customers in Seattle since 1935 and have always treated our customers as if they were family. Some of which we have been working for on a regular basis for over 50 yrs. We have reviewed this comment and searched our records. We worked for a [name removed] at [address removed] on November 11th of 2009. I assume you are associated with Ms [name removed]. I remember this job as it was a complicated one. There was a Elm tree in the backyard that had some dead sections that were hanging over the house, also we pruned back a laurel away from the west side of the house and topped it to gutter height, also we removed a small hemlock in the front of the house and pruned a flowering cherry tree, we also pruned back the neighbors fir trees on the west side of the house that were overhanging your house. When I came out and gave [name removed] the estimate i gave her 2 prices one if I had to climb the tree in the back yard and one if I could drive my Lift Truck into your back yard and across the lawn. I explained to her that there would be some damage to the lawn and possibly the patio if we were to drive our truck into her back yard. How ever doing the work would be $700 cheaper if we were allowed to use the lift truck in the backyard... I gave her a bid for $2000 if I had to climb the Elm tree in the backyard and a bid of $1275 if we were to use the lift truck to do the work on the elm tree. After the job was done I showed [name removed] the damaged done by driving the truck into the backyard to work on the Elm tree. There was some damage done to the lawn and a small crack in the patio. I felt bad about the damage done so I knocked another $125 off the bill and she said that was ok and that she was very happy with the quality of the work we had done on the trees in and around her yard. She paid the bill the next week. We do appologize for the damage done and we tried to do our best to remedy the situation. We at Northwest Insured Tree Service always strive to go above and beyond to give our customers absolutely the highest quality of work possible. This is the first i have heard of anyone being unhappy about the quality of the work we have done for them."
Northwest Insured Tree Service. I've used their services many times in the past.
The tree was on the hillside out back of my garden, deck, and house, which presented some
navigation problems for removal of branches and trunk. However, Mr. Clubine quoted me what I thought
was a very reasonable price to lower the tree and remove it.
He and his crew did the job on the appointed day, while I was at work. I came home to find the tree gone, all
parts removed, and everything in my garden and back deck tidy and undisturbed. That must have been a lot
of work.
Mr. Clubine also prunes my fruit trees out front every spring. Since I gave up doing this myself due to a bad
shoulder, and asked him to do it, the trees have actually looked healthier each year. He must be doing it
right.
