About us
North Beach Painting Co is a single-owner, single-painter company that has done quality work in the Seattle area for the past 21 years. What this means to you is that the same person who does your bid also does your work. That's me, Dennis Pauley. My emphasis is on meticulous preparation - the key to all quality painting - and the protection of your home and belongings throughout the course of the project. I also emphasize strategy of scheduling to minimize the impact on your life while I am in your home. I work with you to determine the best sequence of job elements to make sure at the end of each day you still have a fully functional house and it remains so for the entire duration of the project. All my work is hand brush and roller - old school style - and I only use the best low and no VOC paints. In the majority of cases I recommend Benjamin Moore Paints, but I am willing to work with you and your preferred paint as well. There are a lot of quality, safe products on the market these days. I also take great pride in helping you choose the right color for your project. Besides lending you my experience on what different colors do in different settings, I also will assist you in applying samples on your wall in different locations and in different lighting so you can be confident in what a color will actually look like when it is applied in your actual house. No tiny color chip surprises! I do full houses, of course, but I also specialize in turning around small projects - single rooms and hallways - that are on your nagging wish list. While I usually have a very full schedule, I can almost always find a hole in that schedule to fit in a small quick turn-around job that is an emergency to you. That is just the nature of the flexibility of my business structure. So please give me a call to set up a bid on your project or to just ask me a general question about painting. We're getting ready to put our house on the market and needed to have some touch up painting done. Dennis came and looked at the work we needed to have done and provided me with an estimate. We weren't sure how well the paint color would match since it's been several years, which would've required him to do more extensive blending - and possibly to paint
Fantastic. Estimate was done quickly and Dennis scheduled our job in time for our timeline, despite the fact that this is a busy season for painters. He was so responsive, and the work is exemplary. I would contract with him again and would highly recommend his services.
Not only that, he is a genuinely friendly person and pleasant to be around. He was kind to our pets and interacted cheerfully with my seven year old son who was very interested in Dennis's work. All in all, a great find if you need a painter!
