All contacts with Loon Lao, the business owner, were pleasant and professional.  The bid for the work appeared reasonable and fair.  The work was done quickly and as scheduled.  The work was done well.  I am satisfied with all aspects of my interaction with Nihao Construction and the work done.

Great! Lau came out to inspect the roof and within a couple hours, his team was there to fix it. The price was very reasonable and the problems were fixed right away. I would definitely use Lau again.

Lao got up on the roof and did a quick repair. The next day the roof still leaked. I called him back and he said he'd come out and have a look while I was at work. He never called me back with a report. When I called him back he said I'd have to reflash the whole valley. He did not not say what this would cost or offer to do the work. I did not ask for a bid as I already knew I was not interested in working with him again. I had another roofer out (Steve from B&B) who was able to fix the leak by basically finishing the job that Lao started. So I essentially wasted my money with Lao. He did not take responsibility for the quality of his work, which I find unprofessional. I rated the price as "D", because although it was cheap, I didn't get any real value for my money.

I did a lot of shopping around and even had two other smaller roofing contractors fail to show up for the add-on job. Lau's crew came out on both houses and did a really good job on the roofs and cleaned up their mess and even fixed a few small items without exta charges. Very good job, especially for the price paid.
