It all went very well, I recommend them, from working with me to the cost.

Ordered Mohawk hardwood flooring from Mike Stumpf. Product only.
Specified that materials were to not to be returned material. The
material that arrived was previously opened boxes. When the charge for
the product showed up on my credit card, I called to get an invoice and
an estimate of when the material would be delivered. I was assured that the invoice would arrive shortly and they would call me when the product was in to be picked up. The boxes were torn. The sales clerk who said he was just assisting there for the day tore two more of the boxes attempting to load them into my car. I stopped him after two boxes and loaded the rest myself. When I got home, I opened the boxes to inspect the material. The finsh was uneven. Many of the boards had sapwood running through the tongue/groove and some had tongues that were cut at an angle. Several of the longer boards had more than one direction of curves. The reason I know the boxes were returns was that there were no installation/warranty printouts in the boxes, which all manufacturers put in each box to ensure each customer is informed of the warranty.

Mike Neilsen from the Bellevue Store was very patient with us as we looked at dozens of carpet styles and colors. We already had a bid from a competitor. Mike asked if he could come and measure the house which went quickly. We decided to change colors, style and type of carpet and gave Mike the opportunity to re-bid. Neilsen Brothers was the better price, so we gave them the job. Mike Stumpf, the manager worked with the Mill in Georgia to make sure the carpet would arrive in 10 days and we lucked out and it came on time. The three installers were terrific. They came on time and finished the job early. They moved the big furniture in and out of each room. They worked independently and quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone looking for new carpet and installation. A very professional job.

They had a good selection and reasonable prices. They also were able to recommend a contractor to us and they coordinated with him well even though their part of the work was not on the same contract. They were very flexible when doing the work, there were some delays and it was not a problem.

They delivered the flooring and installation materials to acclimate to our room several days before installation. On the scheduled day, the installers arrived on time and went right to work. They quickly and competently installed the Marmoleum and left a clean room. There were some mars on the walls afterward which we easily touched up. We were advised to stay off the floor a few days and allowed a few additional days before moving furniture and plants in. The floor is a real winner. It looks great, hides plant matter tracked in on shoes, cleans easily and is comfortable underfoot. The only problem we encountered was in obtaining a receipt from the store. Mike Neilson gave us complementary cleaning products for the floor after we stopped at the store for the receipt.

The whole experience, from the selection of the carpeting to the installation, was excellent. The guy really helped me with the selection. That guidance was superior.
