It took a long time to get parts, but their estimate on timeframe was accurate. They were courteous, professional, and informative about the state of the watch and proper care for the future. Good experience overall.

Customer service was A+ and price was very reasonable for the type of repair I required. Would use again and recommend.

I went to Nesbit’s fine Watch Service’s office located in Downtown Seattle, was greeted by Jan. I had two watches that run 5-10 minutes fast a day, definitely needed repairs. Jan explained to me the process and the estimated cost. I left the two watches with Nesbit’s and came back about 10 days later. Tom Nesbit, the watchmaker repaired one of the watches by demagnetize it (a common problem for mechanical watches that running fast). No charge. The other watch will cost about $325 plus taxes for an overhaul/clean up service, which is quite a reasonable price consider the amount of work involving (disassemble the watch, clean all parts, reassemble and add oil to all moving parts, test for running accurately before returning to its owner). I decided not to have the watch serviced as I got it from ebay for only $150. Nonetheless, I appreciated Tom and Jan’s services and professionalism. I would definitely will go back to this shop for all my future watch repair needs. Highly recommended.

Several years ago, I had the pleasure of acquiring a Jaeger LeCoultre Master Moon wristwatch. This is one of only two watchmakers (the other being Patek Philippe) that still make all of their own parts. Jaeger LeCoultre is extremely picky about its repair service and, for almost anything, you have to send the watch back to the factory. A small number of watch repairers, however, have been given limited authority to make some repairs after passing Jaeger LeCoultre's tests.
For some time, the automatic date advancer had not been working. As a result, the watch would stop shortly after midnight and you'd have to manually advance the hands to the correct time to move the date indicator. I suspected that the plunger which advances the date manually had become stuck in the down position.
After talking with several other watch repair companies (most of whom were afraid to touch a Jaeger LeCoultre) I met with Tom Nesbit - who had graciously offered to come in on a weekend since I am unable to get to his office during the week. He said that his Jaeger LeCoultre authorization only permitted work on watches with one less complication than mine, even though he said he he didn't think he'd have any trouble with my watch. Nevertheless, he freed up the plunger; thereby fixing the problem. What's more, he refused to charge me anything. Now that's a class act!
I would have no hesitation in recommending his family watch repair service to anyone needing outstanding work on a fine timepiece.

I have had the same Rado watch for twelve years. The watch looks like new and works great, but my eyes unfortunately don't. It was getting harder and harder to read the watch and I went to Nesbit's to see if they could suggest a good place to trade my watch in or sell it on consignment. I spoke to Jan Nesbit, one of the current owners, and told her just how much I loved this watch and hated parting with it. She suggested we look through the Rado service catalog and see if there were other face/hand combinations that would provide better contrast and be easier to read. She found an off white face with dark blue (almost black) hands that looked promising. The parts arrived within the week and it took them less than two days to replace. The price ($350) might seem a little steep, but this is a $2500 watch and the parts were all original from Rado. Once the work was done it was much easier to read the watch and now I feel it will last me for a very long time (at least as long as my eyes hold up).Regarding quality, the installation was perfect and this is not an exaggeration. There are no signs that any work was done on this watch. I later found out that this model watch was offered with a variety of faces and the Black / Dark Blue face was one of the original options. I would challenge anyone to show me a difference between a watch sold with that face and my watch after Nesbit's made the change. By the way, Nesbit's has taken care of my watches for years and has never disappointed, but this time the care and attention they gave me in understanding what I needed and finding a way to address those needs went way beyond what I expected.
