Nathan Jensen Piano Tuning

Nathan was prompt, courteous, and professional and did a great job tuning our Yamaha U3 upright piano. And at a competitive rate! I would definitely hire him again.

I learned about Nathan from our church -- he tunes the pianos there. When I contacted him, he responded promptly (24 hours or less), answered my questions about price over the phone and set an appointment. My piano is a 1940s Chickering parlor spinnet. He arrived right on time, asking if he should remove his shoes on the way in. I don't care, but that's polite. He looked the piano over, tested all the movement, tuned it, replaced a few ivories that had come unglued, and gave me some tips for cleaning it in the future. It was a joy to listen to him play it as he was testing it and it was beautifully in tune. He also offered the name of some piano teachers for my children when I asked him if he knew anyone. He quoted and charged $100 for the service. I'm pleased and he'll be my piano tuner from here on out.

Nathan Jensen arrived exactly on schedule and performed the tuning for over an hour. The piano is now in excellent condition. We are overjoyed at the results.

Nathan was recommended on Angies List so I gave him a call. He responded the next day and we set up a date/time for him to tune the piano. He arrived promptly and said he expected the tuning would take a couple of hours. The piano was pretty badly out of tune so the job wasn't trivial. He finished when he said he would and was very courteous and helpful with questions I had. I had someone who plays professionally try it and they said it sounded perfect. I plan on having him back on an annual basis to keep it sounding good. He provides excellent service and a pleasure to work with.

We bought a craigslist piano that was sadly out of tune. Nathan arrived on time, told us a little about our piano and then set to tuning and repairing it. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. Three hours later the piano sounded beautiful and everything worked. We were lucky that previous owners had taken care of the piano and done a lot of work to it. I would definitely have Nathan take a look at any piano we may buy in the future before we make the purchase. Great guy, great service.
