Fist thing I could say is, He is honest with his clients; He is highly recommended as well. I went to him for an oil change the last time, and we have been going to him for 23 years. His prices are good,, he has a better price compared to the dealer. My new car requires a special Oil, and he got me a good oil, but he gets my old Subaru car in very good condition and had him service the car for 15 years. I have recommended him to a lot of people.

My Mechanic is the cheapest, most honest, most direct mechanic's shop I've ever worked with. They will explain to you what's wrong and fix it, quickly, efficiently, and at a VERY reasonable price. I've taken my car in nonfunctional a number of times. Each time he could quickly identify the problem and perform some repair. Even when he didn't have the part necessary for the proper repair, Mr. D'Angelo would often perform a "quick fix" to get the car running for a week until the proper part arrived. I've never gotten such straight talk, such reasonable prices, or such comforting assurance that my car would be taken care of without breaking the bank.
The only reason not to go is if your top priority is a clean shop and an easy-to-contact mechanic. Often the phone will go unanswered, but Mr. D'Angelo has never yet missed a deadline on my car, and even responds to e-mails (usually after the shop closes, though). I've been to him repeatedly, including a couple major bits of maintenance, and I don't know of a good reason to go anywhere else in the Seattle area.

I had an amazing expereince. Yes, the location and office are in need of a and quot;woman's touch,and quot; but the service and honesty that exudes from the My Mechanic team is simply incredible! I'd go back in a heartbeat!
I came to David for a free inspection of my new Toyota Certified Pre-Owned 2012 Corolla and to change the drive belt which had been making noise. What he found were various issues that the dealership missed in their 160-point inspection!
David didn't pressure me or try to pitch me sales to get all my services done with him, which I really appreciated. Instead we both felt that these issues should be Toyota's bill to pay. Which, Toyota agreed :)
Because of David, I saved over $500 in repairs and services by getting Toyota to pay for my two front tires, car filters, and transmission service.

It is so rare to find a mechanic who isn't trying to pull your teeth for money and who will explain every issue to you on your level. So happy with my service and for making the decision to go see them. To tell you further of how happy I was with their service, I live in Newcastle, and I will not take my car anywhere else!

I had some concerns over the electrical system in my car since it was stone dead for a minute about a month ago - no lights / nothing when I tried to start it. A minute later it worked fine and has been showing no trouble until today, when it died (and it's an automatic, no reason for engine to kill) in stop and go traffic heading up a steep hill.
I called, and was encouraged to come in right away since it sounded like an urgent issue. Dave checked it over, found the loose connection on the battery cable and fixed it. Then he said the main issue may be the oil being low, he said it needed to be done and changed it right then with me waiting.
I have been coming here for years, and whenever I can I have Dave do my repairs. Being able to trust you are being told the truth and not being ripped off is an amazing relief. I don't know what I'll do if Dave ever retires! This is the sort of vague issue, electrical problems, that could have been a free for all of diagnostics and unneeded repair expense if I had wandered in to a different repair shop. I think it would be worth my while to even have to rent a car for a more lengthy repair. Every time I have taken in to the dealership where you get the free loaner car, t seems the cost of repair is thousands, they always find more that is and quot;urgentand quot; and then something else breaks on the car within 2 weeks of getting it back.
Bring your sick car here, you won't be sorry.

I've a customer there for twenty years. I never find any car repair shop that I trust more. They're super good at saving money. They let you know what you really had fixed and what you can set aside.

It went very well. He is very professional and treats all customers as important. Work is speedy and well done.

On several occasions I took my work van to MY Mechanic Automotive. They fixed my radiator, breaks and squeaky belt. . Each time they were grate, they were patient and answered all of my questions and explained what needs to be done.

IT went great...they even email you quotes if you like. As they said, 'we are too busy to fix things that aren't broken.' I really appreciate that on a car I don't want to dump more $ into!

Car was overheating, and I rolled it into their shop. They identified the problem, were very friendly and communicated clearly. I felt like I knew exactly what the were doing and why. They ordered the part, and had me on the road in a couple of days. I will use them as my primary mechanic from now on!

I have worked with them with several vehicles over the past few years. They have even been mentioned on the click and clack on NPR's car talk. They are very straightforward and honest. They will take the time to talk to you about what they may be finding and what may or may not be wrong with your vehicle. It seems like they love working on cars. It's more of an end in itself rather than a means to an end. They are able to find out the elusive problems to things that happen with your vehicle.

Dave is the MOST HONEST auto mechanic in Seattle. He only fixes what needs fixing. Best mechanic in town. Period.
