MULTI-M CONTRACTING

He got this done quickly and didn't charge us anything, as expected. He has always been a pleasure to work with. Other than the minor items mentioned here, our house is flawless, beautiful and we really love it.

We wanted to get everything done as soon as possible so we could get the townhome rented. We just gave Mark a list of things to be done, and he coordinated all the workers and got everything done in about three weeks. It would have taken us much longer and probably cost more to try and arrange all that work ourselves. We are very pleased with the result. We have worked with Mark before, and know he has a keen eye for what looks good. So we just had him pick all the paint and carpet colors and it turned out great.

The construction was not easy. We have found defects in engineering drawings and Mark has worked through those. Construction started in January and in June the house was ready. We spent many summer weekends in the house by the beach. Mark is honest and reliable. Highly recommend.

The hardest part of your building project was finding a contracter. We interviewed and got bids from 9 different contractors until we finally found Mark and knew we had found our man. His bid wasn't the lowest, but it also was far from the highest and we could tell very quickly that he knew what he was doing. We called several of his references and they all spoke highly of him. He has to be one of the most honest and easy to work with contractors around. Many times he pointed out work his subs had done that was subpar in his opinion and he made them redo it. He won't except any shoddy work from his subs. He really worked with us to keep the project on budjet, and largely accomplished that even though we made several upgrades midstream. Towards the end, the project started to take a little longer than expected, I think because Mark started getting busy with some other projects. But even with that he completed our house in a total of about 9 months.

Room was added on time and I did not spend more than I planned. Quality was very good.

It went well. Mark Schoenfeld and his crew had seen these faucets before and knew what to do. They searched for old supplies of these faucets but had no luck. The pipes had to be completely replaced and the siding removed to get to the pipes. Then, new paint had to be mixed to match the outside of the house. Multi-M Contracting did a great job.

I don’t know if there is a more honest builder in Seattle. Dave is an excellent builder who really builds solid. The house can withstand an earthquake. He took an enormous amount of pride in his work. He would always call us to come look before he made a major change. When problems came up, he fixed them with minimum hassle and cost. When he came up with his own ideas for improvements, he would only charge us the cost of materials. He gave us a tremendous deal on the remodeling. We really liked each other. When the remodel was completed, we combined an open house with my husband’s 40th birthday party and we all toasted Dave for his work.
