Brooks is awesome. He knew we were also working with another mortgage broker, but continued to work with us, and even tell us when the other broker was able to give us a better deal (through my employer). The first home fell through (failed inspection), but we went with him on the 2nd house. The other broker didn't always tell us things, in hopes to get a better deal for himself, but when we confronted him with rates/info from Brooks, he said that he could meet/beat that. Brooks probably ended up making close to nothing on our mortgage, but he still was very helpful, updating us with better rates whenever he saw the opportunity in the market. He's extremely responsive, returning messages quickly. He made the mortgage part of getting a house easy!
