They left 1 incomplete (heat recovery ventilator), 1 that was not to code (solar hot water), and 1 that was incomplete and incorrect (heat pump). We have had to hire a different HVAC company to come-in and clean-up after them. We have had additional costs of almost $4K. Two systems have since been corrected by the new company, and they are still working on the third. Mitchell Mechanical has been a nightmare. We now realize that they didn't have the expertise. At the time of final inspection by the Dept. of Planning and Development, we discovered that Mitchell never got the permit to do the work. At no point did they tell us that that was how they were going to be working, so we had to get the permit taken care of after the fact. As long as Mitchell was still on the job, we were without heat on multiple occasions during the winter and cold snaps of 20 degrees in Seattle AND we have small children. The owners were unprofessional, immature, arrogant, dishonest and just plain disrespectful. The technician who came out the most was very dishonest and incompetent. Beware of this company. Get a neutral third party to verify that the work has been done correctly/been completed if you do decide to work with them.
