Great communication, punctual, responsive...and my piano sounds wonderful now!! The price was very reasonable, considering how out of tune the instrument was. It was exactly as estimated, and I was told it would be cheaper next year because the piano wouldn't be so out of tune.

It was as much a job as a show. Mike was so professional and fast. I never knew a piano could come apart in about 20 seconds, and went back together about as fast. He is an artist.

It went great. Took about a hour, tuned the piano with precision at a very fair price.

I was told by another piano tuner that my piano needed thousands of dollars of work. Mike tuned it and gave me an estimate on repairs that was only hundreds. They accommodate my schedule and some last minute changes on my part, very kindly, were prompt, honest, informative and overall just wonderful! He took part of my piano back to his workshop and fixed it and made my piano sound great and very usable for my daughter's lessons! The repair was $400 (very reasonable!!!!) and the tuning, I believe was $165.

Mike, who is blind, arrived with his driver, and spent over two hours tuning our piano and repairing a broken string. He played the piano a bit, which was enjoyable, and left our piano sounding as beautiful as it did over a decade ago. He was warm, kind, and professional, as well as very reasonable. He was recommended to us by a friend, and it was a great recommendation. I've already put him on my calendar to return in a year.

The appointment went very well. Mr Gill arrived right on time with his assistant. Mr. Gill is sight challenged which makes his hearing more acute. His nephew takes him to his appointments and opens the piano for Mr. Gill.

He is outstanding. Mike started out on a 73 year old piano, that had not been tuned since 1962, that had broken strings. In less than two hours, it was fixed, tuned, and it sounds superb!! There is a reason that Mike has been so successful, and that  reason is, he is the best that there is. I will use him again!! A friend, who has played my piano before Mike, can hardly believe how good it sounds, and has decided to have him tune her piano.

I sent a message through Angie's List asking for an estimate of services.  I received an answer back that day with approximate cost and a date and time that would work for scheduling.  Mike and his assistant, Pam, arrived on schedule.  Mike spent over two hours tuning and replacing keys.  He was very thorough and knowledgeable.  He and Pam were both congenial and fun to be around.  His price was much more reasonable than other estimates I received.  I have full confidence that my old piano received the best of care.

I had an old piano that I had been given by a friend.  It was left outside for a short time and was way out of tune and quite a few keys were not working.  Mike and Mateo put it back in working order and and put a big smile on my face.  They were professional, punctual, knowledgeable (they were able to date my piano), and just super friendly.  I will definitely be calling them every year to keep my piano in tune and ready to play.

Mike and his assistant came to the house on time and expertly tuned the piano.  He was able to identify the piano without seeing it (he is blind) and gave us a little performance afterwards.  Loved him and would recommend him to anyone.

Mike Gill did an excellent job of tuning and repairing our upright Acrosonic piano. This piano has been in our family for many years and has been transported from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest. When we first moved here, we hired a piano tuner out of the yellow pages. This turned out to be a bad idea. For the piano tuner over tightened some of the strings and did a poor job overall tuning the piano. This time, we turned to Angie's List and Mike Gill's name popped out. We called him and he came out to our home last month. It took two visits to tune and repair the damage down by the previous piano tuner. Mike worked very methodically and carefully in repairing several of the piano strings which were too tight. A bridge needed to be repaired as well. Together, with his helper, the bridge was reinforced. Finally, Mike used his keen sense of hearing and great precision to tune our dear old piano. The piano plays beautifully now! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike Gill to anyone who has a cherished family piano that needs tuning and/or repair work done.

Mike and his nephew/assistant arrived promptly and got right to work.  They are pleasant to talk to and his assistant had a reference book and looked up some information on my piano.
