The sentence get the *expletive* out of this house, get out were repeated by him several times. His conduct was not only verbally abusive, but physically threatening. Mr. Cornell threw a box he was carrying down onto the floor of the living room and pushed up against us. We said, Sir, please calm down several times. He kept shouting, Get the *expletive* out of this house, get out. We then left the house and sat in our car outside. We immediately called our agent and let her know what happened. She obtained one key from Mr. Cornell and we all left. Mr. Cornell had informed us that the Seller would give him extra keys on November 29. These were delivered to our agent mid-day, December 1, two days after closing. We were concerned for our safety and changed the locks on November 30, at considerable cost to us.
Description of Work: Michael Cornell was the Seller's Agent for a house in Green Lake that my husband and I purchased on November 29th, 2007. Our house closed at 12:08PM on 11/29 after which we inquired when we would get the keys to the house. We then learned that Mr. Cornell had yet to remove the staging items from the house. This was surprising, given that the house had gone under contract on 11/3. He did not give a clear time to our agent about when we would get the keys. We therefore asked our agent to let him know that we would be at the house at 5pm. When we arrived at the house, we were confronted with expletives and aggressive physical behavior from Mr. Cornell. When we walked in, he declared that "I have the house till 9pm". He did not, however, stop there. He started abusing us in ways that are outlined below. When we finally got the keys, we found the house had debris, the toilet had not been flushed after use and all the nails were left in the wall. The trash cans were left full.
