 + -1 moreI have been looking for an art repair and cleaning service for some time but was afraid to just call someone in case they were not trustworthy. Going through Angie's list put my mind at ease that I would find someone reputable and I did. I wanted an honest opinion of the paintings worth and I did get that,which I trusted. I also wanted an opinion of the art and if it was worth repairing and cleaning, which I did get. Some pieces could not be helped and they were honest to let me know that. I was very pleased with McQuesten Framing and Fine Art Services and would use them again.
Description of Work: The provider took many of my paintings and talked to me about their value and how to preserve them. She said if I wanted an authorized declaration of their worth she would certainly give it to me but I needed to decide if the value of the pieces were worth paying the $250.00 to have a certified appraisal. So her company took my paintings, did necessary repairs and cleaning.

 + -1 moreFor the photo grouping, we sat down and discussed my general goals for my family gallery in my office. Then I just left the room and she designed the wall and installed all of the pieces. It was as simple as that.
Description of Work: Dee McQuesten perfectly installed an extremely heavy mirror as well as designed the layout and installed a large grouping of art and photos in myraid frame sizes that would have been far too complex for me to hang on my own and look professional. She also framed a couple of pieces for me beautifully. I understand she also does art restoration and appraisals, I'd defintely reach out to her for these services as well in the future based upon the quality of her other work. And I will have her do framing, design and installations in the future. She is priced well and knows her stuff.
