DO NOT USE: We were quoted $6K for a shower kit install. Upon completion of the work, it was immediately apparent that the installation was defective and did not meet acceptable industry standards. Specifically: No water membrane was installed behind the shower kit, rendering the installation non-compliant with waterproofing best practices. No caulking was applied to seal seams, leaving the installation vulnerable to water intrusion and damage. The walls and surrounding trim were not plumb, which made it impossible to install a functioning shower door. A McLendon's supervisor subsequently inspected the installation onsite and acknowledged the poor workmanship. We were informed that the matter would be addressed, but despite multiple follow-up phone calls, we received no further communication or resolution from McLendon's. Nevertheless, the remaining balance of $3,100 was charged to our account without our authorization or consent and without any resolution.

Very professional services, excellent quality, and reasonable price! I hired McLendon Home Services for a remodeling work, which includes installing a new shower stall, relocating an existing sink/cabinet, their associated rough-in plumbing (e.g., piping and fitting to install hot/cold water and drain for shower stall and sink), and getting King County permits. Jesse has done an excellent job. He helped me to design the entire project, educated me how the whole system would work, selected the shower stall, and completed all plumbing work. His work was very precise, clean, and fast, a great craftmanship! Judith did a great work in project management/coordination - scheduling, accounting, and permit application. She was so responsive and considerate - answering my various questions timely and patiently, trying her best to make customers satisfied. I strongly recommend this company and will definitely hire them again for future projects.

We had McLendon Home Services do the install (which the subcontracted to Emerald City Energy) and all went well. Water damage was found while removing our old windows which they notified me of, and gave some advice on how to handle the resolution of the problem. They were very professional, and I'd absolutely go with them again.

Great done in a half of a day

My first go to company! Their prices are very reasonable and fair. For handy work, I always request Don Keenan. He's installed a garbage disposal and now 2 toilets and does a fantastic job. The best part aside from what you would expect, he's friendly and I always feel like I'm talking to friendly neighbor. It also feels good supporting a local business!

office called back immediately after I left message appointment easy to make. they gave a reminder call as well. very nice gentleman. seemed experienced explained things fairly well incredibly slow over all. had to return to truck frequently for parts etc. time mounted this cost more than I was expecting

The entire experience using McLendon's was positive. We have good knowledge of construction and maintenance of our home. We contacted five different sources for this replacement service. The sales pressure within the window replacement realm is absurd. We asked McLendon's as a last ditch effort to find a reasonable price, no hard sales pressure, and people that would listen to what I want. McLendon's met those needs. They were low pressure, direct, professional, quoted me a reasonable price on quality materials with a reasonable price on labor. I will call them again for future window needs.

McLendon's bidding/estimate and scheduling process is very organized and went smoothly. Terry the installer was knowledgeable and efficient. He dealt with the quirks of a 65 year old structure calmly and skillfully.

Everyone was great. I REALLY rushed through that the "quote" for the person who came told me the windows I chose will not open halfway. There are no locks. I may have paid more for diff windows.
