If you want to buy a mattress like buying a car, this may be your place. There are price tags on the mattresses, but there are different prices for different customers. I had significant problems with two mattresses from MD. The first one, the salesperson lied to me about the quality of the mattress. The second, knowing that I had back problems, a mattress 'professional' should have known that it was not the right mattress for me. They did agree to do another exchange (typically they only allow one exchange), but they were charging me $150 more than another customer who was in the store at the same time I was PLUS charge me $100 for pick up of old mattress and delivery of new. This would have been the second time I was charged $100 for p/u & del, and I only live 6 miles from the store! When I continued to tell the owner that I would not be overcharged and wanted to pay what the other customer paid (in fact, I would have been paying $50 higher), he ended up by saying he would not replace the current mattress which is causing me unbelievable back pain and stiffness. I have several emails over the past few days. Mattress Depot is only concerned about the money in their pocket, not the cusomer's comfort or satisfaction. They state that they are a discount store and sell 60% below other retailers, but their prices are the same as everywhere else. In addition to their regular inventory, they sell seconds without a warranty. There is supposed to be a significant savings on those, but the first mattress I bought was a second, and I researched it after I brought it home. Not only could I have bought a new one with warranty for the same price elsewhere, it wasn't at a price point even close to what the salesperson stated. He said it was a $1200 mattress. It was a $500 mattress (low-end), and that is what I paid. Also, be careful as the seconds are sometimes mattresses that have been slept on and returned. Ewww! Stay away. I wish I had never gone to the store. I feel like I made a pact with the devil. BTW, I went to the Lynnwood store, but since I was speaking directly to the owner when trying to do the exchange, I would assume this is the way they conduct business at all their stores. Mattresses are too important to just be sold a product. They just sell. Lots of 'lingo' and double talk.

They were great. They told us that if we didn’t like the mattress, we could exchange that within thirty days for a different mattress. I would definitely check them before going somewhere else. The man was really nice. He was great. I never had any problems in dealing with him. I would use them in the future.
