The work was done very well and they made it work around our island oven. It looks beautiful. Would not hire a Seattle company again because of the 10.4 % tax. Yikes.

1. They answer email. So many contractors don't/won't and for me as a busy professional it is SO MUCH EASIER. Susie was awesome, responsive, and flexible. and nice. and laughed at my jokes, even when they weren't funny. 2. They were quick and mostly punctual. Robert, the owner, has some scheduling challenges, but called in advance etc. overall, great. 3. They CARE. the two installers who came out were extremely polite, quick, neat and nice. and they did a good job. 4. they stand behind their work. There was a measurement issue in that my walls are crooked. i had flagged this when they measured, but either they didn't believe me (after all, i'm just a girl, what could i know about walls?) or didn't understand. But the stone slab had a significant gap on one side. They were obviously bummed but they worked it out. and fairly rapidly and without a lot of complaining or grumbling. Susie was my contact on this and just worked it out without a lot of prodding on my part. The solution was to have someone come build out the crooked wall and it looks fantastic. They hired a great sub to do it (also neat, polite, cared etc.) They are obviously used to working through contractors, as was one thing that nobody flagged for me that a contractor would have known related to the dishwasher. but they came back and fixed that too, quickly. so overall not that big of a deal.
