 + -1 moreMark came out promptly and gave the most reasonable quote, plus, he could complete the job quickly (next day). I assisted Mark in placing the new brackets onto the gate while he melted the metal together. Welds looked nice and clean, and structurally sound. And I'm sure his work will last for the rest of my life. Mark is a super nice, and friendly guy that I would trust on my premesis, not to mention being a quality welder who is responsive to the customer's needs.
Description of Work: I needed to modify an automatic driveway gate to accomodate new motors which required having new motor brackets welded onto the existing gate. I had done all the welding of the gate previously, but did so in a shop and did not have a portable welding rig. So I called Mark...

 + -1 moreHe was wishy washy on the price until I made it clear that I wanted a clear bid upfront. He finally settled on $350 but I had to prompt him to get the total amount with the materials. The reason I ended up not wanting to do business with him is that he said that I should "meet him somewhere" to give him a check. He said he didn't "trust" the post office. He later called back and left me a message saying that his mailbox was robbed blah blah blah. It all just made me nervous and seemed very unprofessional.
Description of Work: I called Mark to take a look at a small job at an rental property. He was able to stop by almost immediately, which was impressive, but things went downhill from there.

 + -1 moreWe have used Marks welding on many occasions and he always does a top notch job. He does it all. He's been welding and designing for many years. I highly recomend him. He does the small stuff and the big stuff too.
Description of Work: Designed and created a high strenth modular steel wall for our barn. This was a difficult job that took experience and creativity to accomplish. He did it WELL!
