Work was excellent quality and within time frame we requested (we were leaving town and needed it to be finished). We did have a couple of issues, first when Craig did not show up on time for our initial meeting after I had confirmed the time and the importance of punctuality. He did apologize. Second, when we ran into problems with the ceiling fan (turned out we had purchased one that was not suitable) he indicated he would return to install a different one after we got it (without mentioning any additional charge), so we were a bit surprised to be billed for this and would probably have done the installation ourselves had we known of the additional cost. These issues would make us look at other providers before hiring Marcor again, even though we have nothing but praise for the quality of the work.

Our dishwasher leaked and ruined the flooring in our kitchen. Craig of Marcor came, assessed the damage gave me a quote, stuck to it and did the work beautifully. He was great with our children, respected our space, and did the work he promised to do at the cost he quoted.

Craig was a model contractor. He was a fountain of knowledge and took the time to educate me first before trying to get to a sale. Then, he thought through with me what we really wanted and laid out cost and process options for us to choose from. I felt in control of the process but with him as a knowledgeable consultant working to get me optimal value. His attention to detail was extraordinary. I work in a home office, and he was very conscious of not disrupting my work. Overall, this guy has not only technical skill but the interpersonal savvy that makes doing business a pleasure. Finally, the price was below other companies, AND he added extra touches and follow up at no additional charge beyond the original quote. I recommend him without reservation.
