I recently inherited my grandmother's piano. The seat was covered with beautiful embroidery my grandmother made years ago. I knew my cat, the Destroyer, would not treat that embroidery well, so I decided to have the seat re-covered in something cat-friendly. Specifically, try as he might, my cat can't do anything to microfiber.
The gentleman at Manning and Sons understood the challenge. He said that the cost would be half as much if I used one of their in-stock fabrics. He initially thought they didn't have any microfiber and found a nice chenille that seemed fairly cat-proof. At the last moment, he remembered a possible microfiber he had in the back of the store. As luck would have it, the microfiber he had was my grandmother's favorite color of green. I could not be more pleased.
I dropped off the seat at around 10am. At 3:45 the same day, they called to let me know that they had squeezed me in and the seat was ready. What prompt service!
The folks at Manning and Sons are extremely courteous and clearly competent. I gave them a very simple upholstery task, but I would certainly be comfortable bringing in a bigger challenge. I will absolutely go back if I need upholstery services in the future.

I live nearby and stopped in to meet. Chose my fabric which they ordered. Picked up the chair and did an excellent job. A new england chair with lots of complicated piping which they did very nicely. Took one week and delivered the chair.

I phoned the company and described my need. They said I could bring the chair in the next day (I lived close so didn't need pickup/delivery). They gave me an estimate over the phone and said the chair would be ready in 2 weeks. They completed the work in 24 hours. It looks good.

They did such a wonderful job on the couch. It has been stained with coffee, pizza, you name it, and still looks amazing. They also custom upholstered some outdoor furniture for me and it is just as wonderful.
