Richard is very approachable and will give you real life expectations. We sat down with him and told him what we wanted to do with our house. He came in, measured everything, got cost of materials and told us what it would cost. During our talks on remodeling our house, he explained that the part of the remodel (pantry expansion) would cost more than we were expecting. He showed us other alternatives for more kitchen space that would work just well. Richard provided computer images to me and my wife on what the kitchen project would look like when finished, both with the expensive pantry expansion and one with additional cabinet space. We really enjoyed the images as we could actually see what the finished project would look like. During the entire project Richard was always available and would even ask us to come to the house (we had to Airbnb for a month) to see the progress on the house remodel. I truly recommend him for your home project needs. Richard is honest, very approachable and most respectful. During the project, I had the pleasure of talking to some of Richard's workers and they too were very hard workers, honest and respectful. Richard will not add or change anything to your project without consulting you first.

This review is coming from someone who had a very difficult home remodel not too long ago. There was multitude of items that I felt my previous contractor could have done differently which could have prevented the situation from getting too stressful. So when we discovered dry rot in our carport during a walkthrough with another contractor for some touch up painting; I was having flashbacks. This job was unique in that it required both a roofer and a carpenter because it involved both types of structure. I had more than one contractor explain to me how to fix the problem but then promptly reject the job because they did not have a roofer on staff. Trying to coordinate two completely separate contractors is like trying to corral cats; you canâ t. One of the big advantages of going with Richard in our case was he had a roofer on staff. His outfit is sort of a one stop shop. Richard was very responsive in his communication and we replaced our deteriorating wood and updated our roof shortly thereafter to prevent further damage. Richard came in at the estimate we agreed upon at the beginning. We hope we donâ t have to do any major repairs on our home but Mallory Contracting will definitely be one of the outfits we reach out to for an estimate should the need arise. My wife and I were satisfied.

Richard was so fun to work with. Very professional and friendly. He listened to my ideas and new exactly where we needed to go. He really took it to the next level; we met at several cabinet and tile suppliers. He helped me pick out everything and completely transformed my dark worn out home into a beautiful space I never want to leave. I canâ t recommend these guys enough. He knows all the best installers and offers great pricing even showing me his cabinet costs and more than fair markup for managing everything from start to end.
