We got a whole new kitchen and re-did the hardwood floors in most of the house.

I was introduced to Ryan and Longbranch Construction through my cabinet maker. Ryan is very professional, courteous, knowledgable and thorough. He was one of five remodelers I interviewed. He provided comprehensive services at a fair price; he was the only person to include materials and labor and the only one to acknowledge the need for building permits. He did what he said he would do, was prompt, offered options and suggestions I had not thought of, and improved on the plan my kitchen designer developed. We found Ryan and his company, Longbranch Construction, through Angie's List and were so grateful to have a competent contractor with many skills, contacts, and good communication on board! We have a Craftsman that had been completely gutted. Ryan steered this complete remodel to the end with his meticulous planning, breadth of skills including electrical, plumbing, and framing, and knowledge and coordination of valuable subcontractors. He was very forthright about communicating ideas, options, and making recommendations. He took on the challenging problems, such as a dormer with problematic drywalling prospects, gave thought to all the details, and brought back fresh ideas and solutions. Ryan was aware of good sources for tile, lights, countertops, plumbing fixtures/vanities, etc. for the innumerable aesthetic and practical decisions to be made, as well as where to balance and trade off expenses. He and his associate, Jeff, were a pleasure to work with and we recommend them highly. We receive many compliments on our home and the remodel has been successful in our enjoyment of the space and its value.

It took about 5 hours, and it was done. The place we wanted to install the opening created some basic framing because the space between our joists was not standard. Ryan cut the joists and framed a box to fit the attic latter, as well as support existing joists.

Ryan is really great to work with. He is easy going and will help instruct you in the process if you are interested. As a result I was able to do some of my own prep work and save considerably there. Ryan has a partner named Jeff who is also great work with. They are very professional, efficient and quality. I was really impressed with Ryan's attention to detail.
