Overall went very well. They had bid originally in 2008, held the price on their bid into 2009, responded quickly when I called, and did a very thorough job of prepping and painting the house. Many of the workers spoke virtually no English and I could not get through to them the damage they were doing to the landscaping. I called Dan repeatedly on the landscape damage, and he said, "ya, ya, ya, we'll take care of it" but they never changed their behavior. I showed them where they'd crushed shrubs, iris, and perennials, and they were puzzled by the complaints. I even showed them how to set the ladders and scaffolding to avoid the plantings and they consistently trampled plants. If you are home and can patrol them, they are nice guys and do a great job of painting, but they sure were h****** our landscaping! Other bids were at least twice what they bid, and the damaged plants were less than $200 to replace, so overall it was a great deal. Also, when they were spraying on a windy day and got some paint on our son's car, parked out front, they paid to have the paint removed and the car detailed. Overall very professional--just watch that landscaping!
