Jonathan does an excellent job. We were not aware that Jonathan was working on our project until he was in his own firm. Unfortunately, when we were working with the principle of the firm we originally hired to do the work our requests for changes were not communicated to Jonathan. Once Jonathan was working on his own and we had direct communication with him our project moved along. Jonathan came out immediately and met us at the property to discuss the project. During our communications we realized requests we had previously made had not made it to his desk when he was working for the other firm. Jonathan worked diligently to get as many changes made as possible. Jonathan's responses to our communications were always very timely which we appreciated very much since prior to working with Jonathan we had a very difficult time getting communication from the firm we originally hired. Jonathan listened to what we wanted and didn't discount what we were looking to do. Our previous experience with certain unnamed architects is that they gave us a lot of head nodding, but then continued to do what they envisioned and ignored the changes we requested. Jonathan listens and isn't so full of himself that he thinks he knows better than the client on what they want. Working with Jonathan was a refreshing change for us.
Description of Work: Jonathan took over the final phases of designing one of our residential construction projects before it went to the city for permitting. Jonathan had previously been with the firm we had hired to design two homes. We were not aware that Jonathan was the project architect working on our project because we dealt with the principle of the firm and assumed the principle was the one doing all the work. Jonathan left the firm to start Lemons Architecture and our project was turned over to him to finish.
