With his length of service in providing laminate installation and the referral from Major Brand's, I felt extremely comfortable with his execution and service provided. He did a great job and took the time to explain to me the process so I could learn. He also did some research on his own to see if he could help lower my overall expense for this project. His service levels were extremely high from picking up the materials to keeping a clean job site. He "cleans as he works" and when he was complete, the place looked cleaner than when he first arrived.
The final product was beautiful and the back splash design was much better than what I would have received from Home Depot (nothing against them as I have spent a lot of money there too)
He then took the time to explain how to care for the product.
I immediately introduced Don to an architecture friend who may need a laminate top installer for her client projects and wanted to make sure everyone on Angie's List knew he is the "Go To Laminate Guy" in Seattle/King County.
Mr. Don Wilhelm, an expert in the field of laminate for countertops/cabinets/Wainscote, was asked by the original contractor to repair the kitchen laminate that was poorly installed. He carefully inspected the original work and found it was not repairable.
The original contractor paid for his efforts to replace the laminate.
Mr. Wilhelm’s work was remarkable, superior in every way. The work was planned out, carefully done, the laminate was beautiful. Then he personally cleaned up all areas that he worked in besides the kitchen. He also does Wainscote and tile.
My kitchen went from looking average, good enough (the original contractor’s attitude) to beautiful.
I would trust Mr. Wilhelm to work on any tile or project I have in the future.
