Bad. I called shortly after they finished their work because my wall was still wet. They came out and "fixed" it, what they didn't fix the first time. Then with the rains this winter, not only were the walls very wet again but the damage spread to the ceiling and 2 adjacent walls. I called Leo directly and told him of my problem, and he said he would be right out to take a look and then call me back, which he never did. I had to call him several times just to remind him to check my roof, which he finally did about 2 weeks later. He said the work was substandard and he would have a crew out the next week. Robin Scott then took over. Although they promised they would start my repairs in Mid February (at the latest), no one called or gave me an update on what was going on, so I called Robin. I finally got hold of Robin 3/9 and was told they would be out yesterday. No one came at the time I was told. Called R and L, neither phoned me back. Crew came out unprepared-Leo & I stopped project.

They were extremely slow to respond to my calls, came to provide an assessment and bid two weeks after my call. Provided the bid three weeks later, and after I accepted the offer, it took another three weeks to schedule the work. I don't know how to judge the quality of the work done, I just have to trust that the chimney will now function properly and will last for a long time.

I had called Leo Plunkett, I cant remember where I got the name from. Robin returned my call a couple days later and asked if I still needed an estimate. I said I did, and he came out that day to look at it. The estimate he gave me was very detailed, unlike the one I got from Basic Shelter, and he called me back that day. His estimate was $400 less than Basic Shelter, who could not commit to a fix date. I decided to go with Leo Plunkett, and they started working on my chimney THE NEXT DAY. They were finished 2 days later, and they did a great job. They were very professional, reliable and the best contractors I have had. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs chimney or general contract work.
