Tom's crew got the job done quickly and with top quality. It was a difficult job in a hard to reach area. There was a flaw in a manufactured window that didn't show up until months after the job was completed, and John did the repairs without complaint.

Tom first came out and gave us an estimate and then oversaw the work as it was done over the course of a week. He was very knowledgable and responsive to us at every stage. The work was well done, on time, and on budget despite a few surprises that required extra man hours. He is one of the last old school builders- he really cares about the workmanship and about getting it right. He was very sensitive to our budget and willing to work with us to make sure we stayed within our comfort zone. He also went above and beyond in many ways- helping us deal with other workman who were in our home the same time, talking us through how to do our project in a way that would best compliment future renovations we might do, providing helpful referrals to other people in the area, etc.. He was wonderful to work with and we will be calling him again the next time we have a project.

They worked with us on a complete kitchen remodel as well as a remodel on two bathrooms. The quality of the work was fantastic ... Tom's input helped improve the plans we got from the architect, and it was a pleasure having Tom and his crew in our home. He also met timelines and stayed within budget.
He worked on two other major remodel projects: a new back-deck and a basement remodel.
We recommend him, and will defnitely want to hire him for our next project.

The outcome was beyond our expectations. Tom is very fun to work with and we have already hired him again for smaller projects. When we remodel our kitchen he will be at the very top of our list to do the work. He had all sorts of wonderful advice and years of experience in his pocket. He was well organized and the price came in slightly under the bid and was well worth every penny in the quality output. He also came in on schedule, which was great because we were renting another house during the construction.

This was the thrid time that we hired Tom Comerford and Kinsella Construction. The initial time was our previous house when he helped remodel/transform our basement from a unfinished, wet basement to a terrific family room.
Then, about four years ago, he added a new back deck to our current house. Both of those projects went extremely well, and we knew that we'd want to work with Tom on our kitchen remodel, and the remodeling of our two bathrooms.
The most important thing to say is that we trust Tom -- we trust that his work will be excellent in terms of the way it looks and the underlying quality; that he has wonderful insight and suggestions about each project; and that he is looking out for us from a pricing/cost perspective.
In addition, for all of these projects we felt extremely comfortable having him and his emplyees in our home.
On this project, Tom helped us with design, and he worked with the architect and the engineer. Throughout, we felt that he was really advocating for us in terms of design and expense. He was very easy to speak with and we think he helped us define and reach our goals of creating a kitchen and family room that we could live in and really enjoy.
Now, two years later, we are extremely happy with the work he did -- we feel very fortunate.

HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND FINISHED IT QUICKLY, CHARGING $50/HOUR + 10% OVER THE PRICE OF SUPPLIES THAT HE HAD TO GET. HE'S BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS. HE LIVES IN CAPITOL HILL, BUT I HAD HIM COME DO THE WORK IN SHORELINE.
