Jims Custom Tile & Cabinetry

Our normal contractor wasn't available so I search Angie's list for the next best and found Jim. He did such an amazing job on all the work we asked him to do. FIrst he put in new carrera marble mosaic bathroom tiles upstairs that are simply gorgeous. The attention to detail is amazing! We then had him gut our downstairs bathroom and put in porclean floor tile, marble shower curb, mosaic shower pan and subway tile surround. He also built a custom shower niche that turned out great. We then decided based on his work to have him re-do our mudroom. He leveled the floor and gave us a number of different ideas to made the space work more efficiently. He did so many little extra things throughout the project we just felt so lucky to have him work on our space. I kept looking for other tile work he could do becuase he entirely changed our spaces that I couldn't wait to see what he would do next. He is an amazing artist and just an incredible person to work with. Ethical, honest, creative, and hardworking.

Excellent in all respects. Jim was always punctual, did high quality work, cleaned up, and adhered to his estimate. The project involved some troubleshooting with dimensions and other issues, and Jim moved through these smoothly. And he's a very nice person to work with. We recommend him highly.

Jim started with getting an idea of what I wanted and providing an estimate. We then discussed a timeline for the projects and the work that would be involved. I remained on site while he was doing his work and he did a great job of checking in and asking questions for clarification when needed--his communication skills are very good. He let me know when changes or adjustments needed to be made and was very patient in answering my questions, covering details, and helping me make design decisions. The projects were completed on time and he worked very well with other contractors that I was scheduling and coordinating--helping to give me the details I needed to bring in others to work with/around him while he did his work. Overall, I was thrilled with the work he did (and still am)!!!

JIm is awesome. He is the kind of person that you want to have on a project in your home. He is a creative problem solver, brings a great sense of humor and a can do attitude to the table. Jim tiled a custom shower for us. We had other estimates and many folks were doubting thomas' about the design of the shower that already existed. Jim took what we had and made it better he did a great job on time and on budget. He is great!

My wife and I would highly recommend Jim’s Custom Tile and Cabinetry. Jim and his team were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Jim came back twice to explain his estimate and answer all the questions we had. He was always prompt and easy to contact.  Our shower remodel was due to some poor work that was previously done. Jim provided all our options and thoroughly explained them all. The workmanship was fantastic and him and his team were very neat and cleaned up after themselves after each day. The work was completed quickly and Jim explained every step of the process. We will definitely use Jim for future remodels.

Jim did an excellent job constructing a tile shower surround for my house in Bellevue.  He worked within my budget and time constraints, and completed the work in record time.  It turned out really nice.
