We could not have been more disappointed with Jennifer's assistance in our first time home buying experience. She was unable to gain entry to a few houses, and missed several appointments, leading one seller to yell at Jennifer before letting us in to view her house while her kids napped. Jennifer even forced one family to leave their home for a viewing while dinner was in the oven. How would she be able to credibly negotiate with a seller whom she had upset? She was helpful at the outset identifying homes to look at, but after our offer was submitted, she disappeared. She even rushed us through the paperwork on our offer because she had other meetings to go to, even though she knew in advance that we were only in town for a few more hours. She didn't explain anything about the process unless we specifically asked. She frequently discouraged us from negotiating terms favorable to us, leading us to believe that she was working not for us, but for herself and the deal. She talked us out of seeking inspection requests, and frequently advocated on behalf of the seller. She had no idea how to negotiate a simple rent back agreement. She was frequently overheard remarking that she was "confused." She always took other phone calls while she was with us, and frequently told us that she would have to attend other meetings during critical times during the negotiations. Due to Jennifer's lack of attention to detail, we were almost forced to close without opportunity for a walk through to confirm inspection punchlist items were completed - this was arranged last minute by the escrow agent (Jennifer did not bother to show up for the walkthrough). Jennifer seems to take on more clients than she can handle. Unless you are willing to do your agent's legwork on your own, she is little value added. After we closed on the house, Jennifer had a business associate hide the key in the back yard - she couldn't even be bothered to drive to our home to meet us with the key. I would never recommend using Jennifer as an agent.
