When's the last time most shops would even remove the wheel to look at the brakes?
Jeff's has done the work on several of our cars now for several years. They are always punctual, meet their quotes both and use top quality products (fluids, lubricants, parts). They've saved us hundreds of dollars over dealer costs. They are great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
We took this info back to the dealership and after more negotiation we got the outstanding issue dealt with but more importantly we also got the preventative maintenance done. Through Jeffs Auto Repair being thorough they saved us a bunch of money. We did buy a used car so things will go wrong no doubt, but they earned our loyalty. We will be taking our vehicles there from here on out. Thanks Dan. You're a pleasure to work with.
I made a Monday morning appointment with Jeff's Auto Service to check my brake linings. On arrival I asked for an explanation of the "job", i.e., what's a brake lining? How do you know when you need new ones? Real unenlightened questions.
The manager brought out diagrams of brakes and carefully told me all about it. When the front brakes on my car had been "opened up", he showed me the brake "linings" and pointed out how they were worn--just about worn through it so happened.
I greatly appreciated his taking the time to explain exactly what was being done. I have no idea how the price compares with other garages, but it is so good to have someone explain and demonstrate what they're are doing.
