We have had the pleasure of engaging Mark and Adam Hunter on two projects - both went incredibly smoothly and the results far exceeded our expectations. When they encountered issues, they provided options and recommendations. The communication and expectation management was also very clear - and the team is excellent in following through on commitments.
The Hunter Design team is very skilled, and they only use top quality, locally sourced materials. The subcontractors they use (e.g., for specialized skills such as electric, plumbing, etc.) are also excellent. The quality of the design, carpentry, framing and concrete work is excellent and the attention to detail went well beyond what we expected.
The Hunter Design model of "time and materials" works very well - and the project estimates are detailed and accurate - though our actual costs varied from the original estimates as we made project scope changes and materials changes. While the Hunter Design team may not be the least expensive, they are fair, honest and provide superior value.
Bottom line - our experience has been great and we will engage them on any future building or remodeling projects we undertake.
