and quot;Mickeyand quot; Hummelbrunner and his assistant went into this project not knowing how badly the old porch had rotted away. Once they'd started demolition it was clear that the whole thing had to go.
With a name like Hummelbrunner I expected German craftsmanship and I got it. The team put in a lot of extra time into the build, pouring concrete for the base, using top grade cedar for the railings and a high tech coating for the deck to repel water. The stair risers are made of treated lumber, the stair treads are recycled plastic and the rest of the house could fall down and that front porch would remain.
One detail I was particularly impressed by was the job they did on the siding. Getting it right involved hours of detailed work with cedar shingles. Not easy, but Hummelbrunner only does things the right way.

I have worked with many contractors over the years and Mickey is by far the best. The quality of the work is excellent. It was completed on time and on budget. Mickey and his team were polite and careful not track dirt into the house. Every time they left, the area was tidy and he tried to inconvenience us as little as possible. The bathroom is beautiful. We are extremely satisfied with the work. We will be hiring him again to remodel the kitchen and rebuild our deck.

Mickey and his team did a great job remodeling my kitchen exactly the way I imagined it. He was reliable, trustworthy, and stayed within the budget. I was very impressed!
