gutter repair, replacement windows
 + 0 moreThey were super nice and really friendly and did the job. They did what they had quoted. They were not really sure whether it was going to be a huge job or not but, in the end, they didn't do a bunch of work just to do it. They told me what needed to be done and that it wouldn't happen again. They could have done all the work and charged me for it but they are really honest.
Description of Work: Hometask.com did a small gutter repair job and fixed a leaking window for me.

handyman service
 + -1 moreIt was a positive experience. He doesn't come exactly on the dot, but he does come within an acceptable range of time. He is a good communicator. He comes up with some good ideas and suggestions. He doesn't leave any mess after he does the work. The dealings that I have had with him have been smooth.
Description of Work: Jason from Hometask.com did a whole list of miscellaneous stuff around the house. He re-worked a pantry closet and re-supported the shelving. He came up with a creative way to do that. He re-did my doors with weather stripping. He remodeled an antique picture that I wanted to re-assemble and hang. He replaced door locks and handles on the doors.

custom cabinets, decks, fencing, handyman service
 + 2 moreJason is a real treasure. He is very skilled, totally reliable, and wants the client to be fully satisfied with the work. We especially appreciate that Jason is very honest about what he can and cannot do. While he enjoys a new challenge (such as rebuilding a cabinet to fit a new refrigerator's dimensions), he does not take on a task he cannot perform satisfactorily. We originally found Jason through a mailer ad when we needed some minor household repairs. We now keep a "Jason List" of the things we need done until we have at least 2 hours worth of work (There is a 2 hour minimum charge, then an hourly fee after that). We can recommend Jason with absolutely no hesitation.
Description of Work: We have used Jason Arnzten of HomeTask.com for over two years. He has rebuilt a fence, managed and prepped the kitchen to install granite countertops, rebuilt a cabinet, installed a new deck, and performed a wide variety of household repairs.
