Jim and team did a fantastic job!! Couldn't be happier. Quality of craftsmanship is really really impressive, cost was extremely competitive, he was always responsive via email and phone and completed the work exactly when planned. This was a custom installation too, so we're really impressed with how it turned out. Highly recommend Jim - you're making a mistake if you don't give him a call and have him come take a look at your job. I plan to have him out within the year to build us a few doors and a couple other things here and there...

I asked Jim at Home & Garden Art to fabricate 4 small sections of handrail out of iron that I would use around the 4 corners of my sunken living room. I wanted a 3D flower design done in the center to make it unique and provide a little rustic contrast to a fairly formal space. Jim caught on to what I was looking for very quickly and sketched out something on a sticky note that I thought would look great. After we agreed on the price he committed to getting them done about 3 weeks from that point.
Jim began work on it within a couple days and called with some ideas to improve on the original design. I liked his suggestions and asked him to make the changes. To my surprise they called me a week early to tell me the work was done and ready to pick-up. My wife and I went to pick them up that day and can't say enough about how happy we are with the workmanship. They paid close attention to the details and really made the flowers look incredible. The fabrication and welding work is impeccable and worth every penny.
The guys at Home & Garden Art are super friendly, easy to work with and real artists. I intend to use them again in the future and will recommend them to anyone looking for that kind of work.

I have been very satisfied with my experience with Home and Garden Art LLC. I was working with a neighbor to build a new fence. The plans did not go through, but I am happy with the experiences. They came out and spent a good half hour or so looking things over. They showed me previous examples of work. They were also able to answer all of my questions. I did not get the estimate immediately. They emailed me a comprehensive breakdown of supplies and labor. I was very pleased with the estimate. I would like to use them if the opportunity comes up.

We needed a gate to fit a specific opening and we wanted wrought iron. Our real estate agent suggested we give them a call. My wife went to see what they had. They had a gate that was wide enough, but not high enough to fit the opening. They took the gate into the shop and added a decorative piece to the bottom and it looked great. It was ready in no time. However when my wife brought it home, we discovered that it swung the wrong direction. We took it back and they changed the hinges for us at no cost. Since we were on a tight schedule to get our house on the market, we had not planned to get a custom gate, but it turns out it was quick and the quality was way better than we had expected to end up with. And the service was above and beyond. When I went to pick up the final product I got a chance to briefly brouse the store. OMG! I could spend an afternoon just brousing the shop and the yard.

Jim, the business owner, is all about customer service from start to finish. He's a very friendly guy who has a great artistic eye and a very large amount of stock in his store to choose from. Jim helped us select recycled iron fence sections (a great "green" option) and installed them in our yard. The price was very reasonable for a great quality 6 foot high iron fence. The fence is *solid* and will be there for decades. We had a tough section to install on a hill and Jim did an outstanding job with the installation. He really cares about making the fence look good. There was one section that was not installed right, and he was out the next day to fix it. I really didn't expect him to come out so soon to fix it and was impressed by his responsiveness. If you want to install an iron fence, don't bother going anywhere else. Just go to Home & Garden Art!

The price is a little high, but absolutely WORTH IT. We are very happy with the work that was done. Jim puts a great deal of time and creativity in his work, there is a lot of detail in our gate which helps it match the style of the rest of our 1926 house.
