Brian Schiff is an amazing craftsman in all aspects of home remodeling.  The quality of his work is exceptional and his dedication to his craft refreshing.  After a very negative experience with another contractor who started my job and then absconded with my money and the job barely begun, I was understandably wary.  Brian has restored my faith in the profession.  He was at all times professional.  He hired the highest quality sub-contactors and oversaw every aspect of the project.  My home was built in the 1970s and the kitchen had been remodeled twice since then.  The previous remodels had numerous construction defects, all of which Brian corrected.  He crafted a metal beam and support structure to carry the weight of the second floor. He replaced the siding on the back of my home and rebuilt a second story deck.   He installed a 7 foot window and new sliding door in the kitchen, making the space bright and welcoming.  He built and installed new cabinets that perfectly fit what I had envisioned for both my kitchen and my bathroom.  He installed a glass tile backsplash that is perfect. He ensured all of the appliances were properly installed, and that all the plumbing, electrical work, and dry wall were expertly done.  Brian installed heated tile in my family room with matching tile in my kitchen.  As with all of his work, it is perfect.  He redid all of the trim and installed solid wood doors throughout the first floor.  Brian changed my 1970's tired, inefficient house into a modern, organized, beautiful home that brings me joy everyday.  I cannot more highly recommend him.

This is our second project with Brian. We are thrilled with the final result! He's trustworthy, punctual, hard working and creative. He made suggestions for various aspects of the project. We trusted his judgment and decided to go with all of his suggestions. We have another kitchen project next year, and we will certainly go with him again. He's a true craftsman and cares about his work. There is a tremendous amount of attention to detail.

My wife and I found Brian exceptionally easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and made excellent suggestions to smooth the installation and insure the best results. His workmanship was outstanding and the work was promptly completed, from initial estimate to installation. As an indication of his exceptional professional standards, Brian even returned on an additional day to give the finished floor a final polish to make sure that it was perfect. As promised, the bill reflected the amount of the estimate. Our overall experience with Brian was completely positive. He was both exceptionally professional and a delight to work with. My wife and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I needed bathroom tile installed ASAP before moving in and didn't want anyone flaking out on me. Professionalism, reliability, honesty, quality, and speed was most important.
Brian was very professional to interact with, yet also easy to get along with. He was willing to work with my schedule if I would work with his (this was over the busy Christmas holiday). He was also very proactive, calling me to give updates on the install or any schedule updates. Nothing happened without me OK-ing it first. Even after injuring his foot a bit just prior to install, he still managed to pull in extra help to oversee and get the job done right and on time.
After laying out all my options, he gave clear advice on what he thought would look best. I really appreciated him taking the time to walk me through everything in the process to ensure I'd have a tiled floor I'd love for a long time.
Even though the price was higher than what I could have had others do the work for, it was well worth it. It was great NOT having to deal with someone flaking out on me, unprofessionalism, or other road-blocks to an overall great customer experience.
I fully recommend their services and won't hesitate to call them again for my next project.

I have a substantial amount of experience in construction and have dealt with many, many contractors. In the last 3 years I've spent in excess of $1M on contractors. Brian from High-Rise Tile and Marble is among the very best I've ever encountered. He is extremely knowledgeable, very detail oriented, intelligent, reliable and among the most professional I've ever run accross. On the face of it, his prices may not seem the cheapest, but the quality of the workmanship is absolutely superb. I had tilers I've used before, bid 30-50% less who would have banged out the job in a couple of days. Brian, on the other hand, took approx. 8 days to achieve the top notch results that I know for a fact the others would not been able to deliver. In other words, considering the amount of effort and heart he put into it, his price was the same as the others (he took twice as long and charged twice as much). His price was higher but his value for the money was exceptional.
If quality is paramount and you care about overall high value for your money, Brian is the probably as good as you will find anywhere.

Beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail sum up the entire experience. Brian Schiff was puntual, professional and reliable. I wasn't sure of the type/style of backsplash I wanted initially. He provided several options, taking into account my taste and budget. I appreciated his creativity and willingness to work with me. The final product brought the whole kitchen to life. Brian is extremely and quot;customer serviceand quot; oriented and I'm sure we'll have him work on future projects. We can't wait to have him tackle our bathroom! I doubt I'll even get other bids since we're soo pleased with his work!

As a long-time architect, I've worked with a wide range of tile contractors, but none has surpassed the recent work provided by Brian Schiff of Hire-Rise Tile and Marble; I highly recommend him. He came out and reviewed the job of tiling my bathroom floor and gave me a very competitive price. When the job began, he uncovered that the existing underlayment was unstable and removed it without an extra cost. He started and finished the job in the time he said he would and was professional, polite and exceptionally concerned about keeping our house clean during the process. I also appreciated his attention to details. For instance, he artfully scribed the floor tile around the curves of our 50and lsquo;s era tub in a way that looks beautiful! Remodeling can sometimes be a difficult experience, but working with Brian was the best. High-Rise Tile is a genuine five-star contractor.
