They were friendly and good to deal with. They were easy going. It was quick. I just walked in and told them my problem and then they gave me a quote. I came back and it was done. They were good. It is hard to say about quality because there wasn’t much done on that. I would use them again for the same type of project.

She said one part wasn't screwed in tight enough or misaligned. She adjusted it and the light came right on! I'm sure I've purchased things from there before, but never had a service done. They were excellent!

I went to the store in Bellevue. I had a switch replaced on a lamp which now works fine. He wanted to also replace the wiring which I did not do. I thought that the service was pricey but otherwise had no complaints.

There are very few sources for brass lamp parts these days. I guess people just throw out older lamps and buy new ones.



They didn't suggest any other place for us to get a 6 1/2and quot; brass base. So we had to take the old brass lamp base to one of the only two silver and brass plating businesses in the Puget Sound area and it will cost over $400 to get it re-plated. And there is the reason that people throw out old lamps and get new ones. What kind of society is this anyway?

Couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. This was an old and unsafe lamp that is now up to modern standards.

I have a 5 bulb spider lamp 9' from base to bulb. To move it it had to be dissasembled in the middle. The switch was broken, it was a tangle of 12 wires, and I could not get all bulbs to work.
Replacement lamps were expensive and to my liking.
I was ready to spend $100 -$200 to fix it.
Went to Hanson as my first experience with Angie's list.
When I picked up the lamp it had a new dimmer switch. The wires were neatly bundled and they installed a plug in the middle so as to savely and easily break it down into it's 2 sections. Fantastic.
Service was friendly and honest. A local business.
With some of the extra money I did not spend I bought a decorative lamp shade topper (elephant) for my wife. Check them out.

I brought in the fixture and Pam helped me choose the right canopy and wiring for it. It was an irreplaceable piece and they took very good care of it while in their possession. It came out looking fresh and modern. I just had it installed in my dining room and it looks fantastic. Thank you!

I brought in a vintage light fixture and they put the pendant globes on a whole new canopy and wiring. It looks fantastic and I'm thrilled to have this piece of my family history to hang in my home. They helped me choose the canopy and the wiring. The cost of $139.00 was right where they estimated and was considerably less than I would have expected. The project did take a few days longer than I hoped but it is all good.

Hansen's is a small, local shop that does great work. My most recently repair took about 5-6 business days. I know from experience that they will inspect the work and call with an estimate, but this time around I knew the work would be inexpensive so I approved it when I dropped my lamps off and got them back a week later. For $65 dollars they repaired the dimmers on two table lamps. They also cleaned the lamps and tightened the assembly. They looked good new.

I'll never take my lamps anywhere else. I love this place.

The price was reasonable. They got it done in the time frame they committed to. They are friendly. I would totally recommend them.

I dropped in with a light that did not work and within 2 minutes I had one that did. Awesome.

Perfectly. What I appreciated was Hansen's willingness to supply parts (rather than insisting on my bringing the lamps in for work). I have bought carved wood bases from them, and lampshades. They have an excellent selection of shades and finials (I needed to replace some shades that were worn out). They were willing to cut the threaded rods I needed while I waited (only a couple of minutes), so that I was able to complete my project quickly.

The work was done quickly and our electrician said that the work had been done very well. The price was less than quoted, and they work fine and SAFELY!!
