GUY WEBER CONSTRUCTION INC

We had our entire house gutted and remodeled. Guy was subcontracting for his brother, who was the general contractor on our job. Guy is a general contractor as well, and ended up doing most of the work on our job since he lives closer to us than his brother does. Since Guy wasn't our general contractor, the cost estimates and time estimates we received for most of the work didn't come from him, so the answers I've provided, with the exception of the total cost of the project, relate to his work and to the work he completed for us outside the scope of our original project. In addition to providing us with excellent construction services, Guy was very valuable as a designer. He was able to suggest colors, tile designs, millwork ideas (for example, how do you want your windows framed? how do you want your baseboards to look?). These are the most challenging parts of a remodel, and his input was really helpful. Guy also bailed us out of a potential disaster with the granite people I almost hired for the kitchen countertops. He knew they didn't want to provide us with a single slab countertop because it would have been too heavy for the the two bozos who were going to install it. They said it wasn't possible to do. He found people who could get us a single slab countertop and it looks great. He also suggested cabinet trimwork that made a lot more sense (with respect to the rest of my house) than the one I had chosen. The parts of the remodel that he did are my favorite parts of the house (as opposed to the drywall job and paint job that were subcontracted, not by him). He also designed and built our front porch, which I love and which we have received many compliments on. Guy cares about providing goood service to his clients and takes pride in his work.
