I get the exact same program with Safehomecentral.com for $107 per year!! I am Savings $223 per year compared to Guardian for the exact same monitoring program. I have been with Guardian Alarm monitoring company for over 20 years with Central dispatch and land line monitoring and it was $149 when I started. Guardian has been upping the annual charge every few years and for the last two it was $230 per year. This year they upped it again to $330 per year. Safe Home Central uses the ADT network, with hundreds of backup servers and has a 24/7 free technical help from American staff based out of Pennsylvania. Guardian is just charging too much for what they offer in my opinion.

Guardian slipped a long term contract into a minor repair they made for me, When I sold my house they demanded full payment on the contract. The new owner offered to assume the contract but Guardian demanded full payment of my contract AND full payment by the new owner. Very slimy experience.

This company took over for my previous company. Overall I have had good service. My only complaint is the app that is used for them. It doesn’t respond well and gives wrong messages.

My main contact was great to work with from start to finish. However the installation took five trips out and only should have taken two. The first two trips were by an inexperienced installer and his work had to be completely re-done. A few times the installer was sent to my house, but wasn't given all the parts that were on the order. Also, the first installer failed to re-connect the sprinkler system to the alarm panel, which was discovered by a technician from a different company. In the end the company made a lot of improvements to how the system was set up, as well as tested and labelled every connection. And they did not charge me labor for the improvements, which took a lot of time. So the end result was good, but significant problems in getting there.

Guardian has provided service and monitoring for my Alarm system since June of 2011.

Several months after the service was initiated in 2011 I began to issues with one of my wireless sensors. It took several months to determine the issue (ordering parts added to the delay). The repair technician who seemed to be very knowledgeable about the system said that wireless sensor was having connectivity problems due to the distance between it and the alarm panel. He said that an external antenna was needed to resolve the reception issue but that my panel did not support this, so I would need to consider a new panel. So we agreed that he would disable the sensor and that I would receive a call from a Guardian sales rep to discuss my options.

I never received a call, I reached out several times by phone and email and received no follow - up. Fast forward two years to 2014, I received a letter in the fall of 2014 that my wireless radio (2g) that provides monitoring (I have no land line) was being deprecated and I would need to purchase a new radio (3G). I made one more contact attempt via their website with no response.

I am now working with a new installer and will transition my monitoring service to them as well.

Steve. Morales was the sales person. He is a little verbose but overall seemed to know his stuff. We got our system upgraded and they was satisfactory. We moved into a house that already had their system I place and we needed to make some upgrades to bring the system up to our needs. The camera system, however, was and still is a mess. Their technicians knew how to install the units but very little idea how to program them properly. As a result the job took hours longer than anticipated. Hours that I had to pay for. I asked for three cameras to be installed but really could not make up my mind where to install the third one so they held off on that. I called them and told them a couple weeks later where I wanted to put the third camera and they came out to install. I changed my mind at the last minute on the location and they put the camera where I wanted it...only this camera was not suitable for that location. In fact it was a camera with a short focal point so unsuited for areas where a longer focal point was necessary. I questioned the tech and he said and quot;I just installand quot; . Nice answer. Steve knew this camera was unsuitable for the need and said that in hind sight the moment I changed my mind, he should have pulled the guys and regrouped. Fair enough. We all make mistakes except this one cost me money. I don't do this for a living, Steve does...so I couldn't have known that my change of heart would cause such an issue. Since this time I have had little follow up I didn't beg for, no apology for the time it is taking to correct this matter and certainly no contact from higher management or any other customer service person to ensure I am completely satisfied...or even to talk with me about mu dissatisfaction and certainly no discount for their lack of knowledge how to program the product. The camera system itself is clunky and difficult to operate. The cameras change their field of view by themselves and good luck getting any playback. I am thoroughly unimpressed with their follow up and customer service. I will never use them again and certainly not send anyone their way. They really give you the impression that your needs as the customer don't really matter. Their time is far more important.

.We last used them in March. They are monitoring our alarm system. The offer motion sensors and cameras also. We have a basic package with them. They are more responsive than our previous alarm company. It was previously installed by a company that were unresponsive, so we moved. The service is very good.

They quoted me a full home security system, replaced the one that came with the house. The technician was knowledgable, extremely friendly and even provided 2 extra sensors that the person who quoted us missed to account for. All in all the monitoring service, the equipment and the technicians have been great.

Guardian Security is a local company and runs the largest monitoring center in Washington. They provide a good service at a good price, but are very disorganized. We recently moved into our newly purchased home and I called them to add a few things to our security system and being monitoring.

The salesman came out to the house one day after I contacted them, which was great! He showed up on time and was a nice guy. However, he really did not seem to know the products very well. I was interested in a cellular backup service, in case our landline was down. I told the salesman this before he came out to the house, and I told him that cell service was very weak at our home. I wanted him to test the service while he was here, but he did not bring the equipment to do so. I really wanted to discuss options and additional components with him, along with prices. He was not able to give me prices while he was at the house, and didn't seem to know the products very well. He left promising to send an estimate for the different options and componetns that we discussed.

Two days later I received the estimates, but none of the components were itemized. Instead he offered a few estimates with different options, and gave a total price for each one. This made it very difficult to decide what I wanted, because I could tell how much the individiual items cost. We went back and forth via email for several days trying to sort this out. I finally became frustrated with his inability to be specific, and I called Guardian Security and asked to speak with the sales manager. The man I spoke with was very knowledgeable, and very clear about everything. Before speaking with him I was considering going with another company, but there really aren't many options if you want local monitoring. After speaking with him, I felt it was clear that Guardian Security had a great product, offered a great service, but needed to improve the knowlege of their salesman and provide clear pricing. I felt confident that they would provide a great service, and went forward with signing a contract. The sales manager allowed me to make some minor changes to the contract so it better fit my needs, which was a huge plus! I doubt anything like that would have happened with one of the national companies.

A few days later the tech came out and installed the components. He was professional and knowlegeable about the components, and I had wished he had been the one to handle the original sales as well. He discovered that the cellular signal was in fact too weak at my home, so I was not able to get cellular backup. That was fine, as I expected that to happen, but was a little frustrated that the salesman didn't come prepared to test that when he came to the house. Anyhow, the tech installed everything else and did a great job.

I would not recommend Guardian Security because their agents work idependently and the agent that is handling my account is horrible at being correct and at getting things done in a reasonable amount of time. There were numerous mistakes made in the estimates, the contract, and the final invoice. My credit card was over charged, and they have taken over six weeks to refund my money. It's unfortunate, because I think this company has potential, if they find some new management and restructure how they do business.

They were here on time and they seemed knowledgeable about what they were doing and the locks. It was one new install and four replacements. They also did some additional security work on one of the doors. The work was very good and I have no complaints. They were very prompt and got right to work and got the job done. They did a really good job. They were one of the very few around that could install the specific locks that I had. I would use them again.

This Locksmith ACTUALLY has a physical location and charges awhat they say they will.
They have been in Tacoma for a long time. The Mercedes dealership refered me to them as the best to handle my Mercedes lock problem. Great people and great service, and you can go to their store and talk to them face to face (for locksmiths that seems to be rare).I had tried several Locksmiths before calling the dealer. ALL of them were either idiots or scam artists.
While they were here I asked them about my 2010 Mitsubishi flip key, the dealer quoted me well over $300 for a copy. Guardian had it and did the new key for $205.00.
