Green Wagon Cleaning

We received a three-hour “deep cleaning” as our initial service, with two workers in our home while we were asked to be away. We complied with the request and left a good-faith tip for them in addition to the cleaning fee. Upon inspection, we found balls of dog hair left under furniture that were easily accessible with any vacuum hose, crumbs and grime under condiments left unmoved on the kitchen counter (a first for us from any cleaner), visible grime and dirt on the kitchen and bathroom floors and multiple areas left completely uncleaned. Our impression was that they ran a damp swiffer over some surfaces without actually cleaning, and assumed that if it was wet, it was good enough. Only two rooms were free of dust and dirt, but the bed looked disheveled. Easily the worst cleaning service we have ever used, and we’ve used several in our 20 years of home ownership. The owner asked for comprehensive feedback, which I provided, with pictures. Her response was, “I don’t think we’re a good fit.” Basically, I paid $340 for a “deep clean,” received nothing approaching any kind of “clean,” documented it and gave feedback *upon her request,* and they fired us as clients. The message is clear: We only want customers who DON’T want their homes cleaned. Mind-blowing. I should say something nice, so I’ll say that the house smelled like oranges when we came home, rather than chemicals, which was indeed nice. It’s too bad our home wasn’t also actually clean. We absolutely do not recommend Green Wagon.
