Green Brush Painting

Jeff and his crew did a great job painting our house. Jeff helped us select colors that would wear better and had a lot of other good other suggestions, like which parts to include in the trim to get the best overall look. He's worked with a lot of cedar siding and provided some good recommendations, like using a flat finish and waiting until the summer months so the cedar would fully dry after pressure washing. (Other contractors we talked to wanted to paint this spring.) He also suggested an accent color for the front porch and door that we really liked. And his crew were polite and professional and did a great job. We feel like we got a premium job at a competitive price and we're very pleased with the result!

Jeff and his crew were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Everything was done per our agreement and schedule. They were very responsive when we pointed out small issues we wanted them to address.

Jeff and his team came to repaint our rental house. His quote was competitive, work was done well. Our rental house was empty so I was not pressed for time and it was not a bother that they took several days. He was flexible, and went beyond his duty by taking away some old computer things to the recycle for us. Very pleasant, great experience!

Meticulous and professional, I don't think the exterior of our house has been treated this well since it was built! Even my wife, who is extremely picky, was very impressed. Would highly recommend.

Jeff and his team did excellent work. They were professional, courteous and did an excellent job of prep, masking and cleaning up, which is a lot of the work. Our house looks gorgeous, and I would recommend Green Brush to anyone, and have hired them to do interior painting this winter because I was so impressed with their work.

The guys from Green Brush did a really great job on the exterior of the house. It is now 10 years and the paint job still looks like new (the paint job on our previous house did not last ten years). Happened to think about it now because we're going to need some interior painting soon and I know who I'm going to call.

Really thought the owner was an amazing guy - prompt, professional, etc.  But once the job started, things started to go a little sideways.  I'd say the quality of the work was good.  We were very happy with that.  Our biggest complaint was that the job took much longer than bid-we were in the process of putting our home on the market and the fact the job took longer, delayed the rest of the staging, listing, etc. of the sale. The icing on the cake was that we contacted the owner to pay our outstanding balance of approximately $4000 several times without a response.  Then in early 2015, I got a frantic email from the owner saying he was leaving on vacation and could I pay him the balance due.  I did not have a problem with paying him - it was very unprofessional of him to neglect wrapping up the financial part of the job and then deciding that it finally was time to get paid - and, oh, can you send that check right over.  Wouldn't hire this company again.

It went great, I can't say enough nice things about the company. The painters were courteous, prompt and did a great job. The owner was very responsive, provided great advice, completed the job as projected and the final cost was as estimated.

We were very happy with Green Brush. The workmanship was excellent. It is a small company so it took a day or so longer than we expected but it was worth the wait. The staff cleaned up after themselves each day and the attention to detail was remarkable. Very professional paint job. We would highly recommend them.

I've worked with many painting contractors over the years, Green Brush stands out as the best by far. The quality of the job is unbelievable, the staff was professional and personable.  They kept me informed about the job as it progressed.  After this experience Green Brush is the only painter that I want to work with.

Jeff was very easy to work with. He responded to all correspondence in a timely way, went out of his way to be helpful in choosing the paint, and taking care of small things during and  afterward.  Attention to detail and communication were excellent.  He and his team were flexible, even allowing our neighbor to come over and use their scaffolding above the stairs to hang a light unreachable any other way.  He offered his advise on house related questions, even checking some issues for us.  Jeff and his crew were  always pleasant, respectful, and timely.  Work was completed in a relatively short time, and as promised. Cleanup was excellent. He and his crew were professional, and did an excellent job.  We will definitely hire them again.

The experience was fantastic. First of all, Jeff kept me informed every step of the way. I had not moved into the house yet and was living in another community, so it was great to know what was going on. Second, the quality of the work was excellent. No drips anywhere, no "oops" spots on the trim, the walls look amazing, and the work was performed in time for the move-in.

Jeff went above and beyond by removing previous drips from the mahogany trim and by taking a shelf that had been removed to his friend's woodworking shop to do something so that it could fit back into the place it had been removed from. I felt like he took the same care of my house that he would his own.

Finally, I really enjoyed working with Jeff and his crew. They were professional and friendly, and I had no qualms about handing over the key my house.

When I need the exterior painted, I will call Jeff. I knew nothing about painters in this area because I just moved here from the East Coast, and I felt really fortunate to have found The Green Brush.

I was fortunate in finding this company and felt confident from the first because I'd already seen both a beautiful exterior paint job across the street from me here in Wedgwood, and then later, had had a chance to view the interior of some friends' home in Fremont that had been recently painted by The Green Brush. From the first phone call, my experience with the Green Brush Painting Company was a pleasure. Clear communication is important to me and I felt that we had that from the beginning. The time and date of bidding, on through the arrival of the crew for the first day of prep work, the the estimated time of finish - one day early - was accurate and clear. 
I appreciated the good nature of the crew, their pleasantness and regard for my home and yard and even my neighbors. There are others on this street who have since hired The Green Brush. The crew made it a pleasure, seeing my home expertly cleaned and scraped, caulked, primed and painted by people who were professional, knowledgable and efficient made the experience a pleasure in every way.
Their price was near the upper end of those who placed bids, but having seen some examples of their work, and knowing that I wanted a job that would hold up many years, I decided to forego cheaper bids and trust a company who seemed to know more and operate at a higher level of professionalism. I was not disappointed. In fact, if ever I need another paint or remodeling job, this is the company I will call without a moment's hesitation.

In hiring The Green Brush, we found the painters we will hire forever.  We found their bid was competitively priced, and the scope and quality of the work went the extra mile.  Jeff and his team are talented, professional and fastidious, paying close attention to detail. They bring special knowledge to bear in painting vintage woodwork, and are able to provide advice about color combinations and selections that will make each room shine.  Whether it?s an older home, like our previous house, or newer, like our current, they understand the unique painting approach needed for each house. They leave the painting area clean, and at the end of the job, do a careful inspection to make sure everything is perfect. With an environmental health background and family members with asthma, I also appreciate their knowledge and expertise in using low VOC paints.  

 When it comes to the final result, a combination of paint selection and technique leaves the walls with richly textured color, and each time, has brought out the beauty in the house we hadn?t seen before. I highly recommend them. The Green Brush painters are extremely talented and professional, and their work is exceptional.

We were so pleased with the work Green Brush did on the interior of our home a few years ago, that we hired them again last summer to paint our home's exterior.  Jeff and his team went above and beyond to ensure the job was done right.  Their work was meticulous, they always cleaned up at the end of the day, and they took extra care with our garden to make sure no plants were damaged during their work.  If we had more walls to paint we would call Green Brush again in a heart beat.

Jeff was prompt for the estimate and the work, which matters to me. He was great in helping me decide what kind of paint, low or no VOC, and where to find it as the combination of sheen and VOC content was only available in certain brands of paint. spot on knowledgeable.
He spent extra time...lots of time... Making sure that the texture on the walls was perfect because he was dealing with old painted over spackling and holes that he made disappear. No extra charge for this, he wasn't leaving until he was happy with it!
It looks great.
He also lugged around some very heavy furniture, which he didn't have to do, but for which I am grateful as I couldn't do it myself, which is just gravy on this "a" rating.
Super nice guy, nice to my dog, good communicator. He never wasted any time and got the job done quickly and well.
I love the result and would choose Green Brush happily in the future.
