Geri Lins Estate Sales

Geri handled all the details, advertising, promoting, displaying, selling and removing whatever remained. She and her crew were honest, returning a stash of coins someone found. She respected my feeling in dealing with my deceased sister's belongings and always found something to compliment. Geri cleared the house and garage completely, something I was dreading doing. I received an itemized list of the sales, of all costs and even receipts for items she donated for the estate. She got fair prices and I would recommend her to everyone.

We had interviewed several other estate sale professionals from the site http://estatesales.net and had used another estate sale company in the past. Geri's empathy and people skills impressed us immediately when she came to our home. She seems fully aware of the stresses that these life transitions bring whether they are brought about by a death, a move, or another family circumstance. She stayed in touch with us as she was sorting through our things and was careful to set aside anything of a personal nature that she thought that we would want to keep.

We were also impressed by geri's honesty. She had some sterling silver items professionally appraised and refused the appraiser's offer as too low. She could have increased her profit by selling them but set them aside to check with us when it became clear that they could not be sold at full value at our sale. After the sale, we received a fully itemized list of things that had been donated to charity with an estimated value for each item.

Estate sale companies make their profit by taking a percentage of what is made in the sale. Geri charged 38% of the proceeds from the sale plus some clean up fees. This seemed fair. She and her team worked really h****** our sale. The process of getting our home ready for sale would have taken MUCH longer without her help. We are grateful and delighted to recommend Geri and her team to others.
